Embers of Night are a special collectible in Titan Quest 2, and can be farmed from an Offering Box in the Northern Flooded Farmlands. Check out the locations for Embers of Night in this guide!
Best Embers of Night Farm Location
Ploutos Offering Box in Northern Flooded Farmlands

| 1 |  Find the Offering Box in the Northern Flooded Farmlands and offer 100 Gold to the box. |
| 2 |  The box will take a while to produce its yield. In the meantime, you may do other quests or explore the map! Once you return and see the box glow gold, open it to claim 5 Embers. |
| 3 |  Exit and re-open the game. The chest's contents should refresh at no additional cost. |
| 4 |  Rinse and repeat from step 3 until you have your desired amount of Embers. |

The Brazier Puzzle in the Fiend's Hollow cave on Proti Island involves lighting sets of braziers in the correct order, and awards 10 Embers of Night upon completion.

Headhunt World Quest

Players can pick up the Headhunt World Quest from Lochagos Rizon in Pyrgos Village. He will ask you to take out four Icthian commanders, with each one yielding 5 Embers (for a total of 20 from this quest).
Note that you can actually take out the Ichthian commanders without the Quest active, but the Quest does make them easier to find with its tracking.
Hidden Chicken Villager NPC

There is a Villager in Pyrgos Village who is making squawking sounds. You can give the villager Moly from the Southern Flooded Farmlands, which will turn them into a chicken.
Bring this chicken to several other chickens scattered in the village for some gold, with 10 Embers of Night being awarded after bringing it to 5 other chickens.
Rhene and the Smoke Signals

The NPC called Rhene can be found at the very northern portion of Pyrgos Village, slightly northwest of the Elevator used to get to the Southern Flooded Farmlands.
She will award you with 15 Embers if you clear out all of the smoke signals in the Southern Flooded Farmlands. These smoke signals resemble the one from the Smoke Over Pyrgos quest, and are scattered in the Farmlands.

Northern Flooded Farmland Ichthian Shrine

Interacting with this Ichthian Shrine in the Northern Flooded Farmlands will spawn a horde of Ichthians for you to defeat.
Once you take out all the Ichthians, interacting with the shrine again will provide you with 10 Embers of Night.
How to Use Embers of Night
Unlocks the Ancient Embers Quest
Picking up the Embers for the first time will begin the Ancient Embers World Quest, which tasks players with finding a person interested in the Embers. In the Early Access version, this person is Ianthe in Pyrgos Village.
Ianthe will request specific amounts of Embers from the player, and reward them when that amount is handed over.

As of Early Access, Ianthe is the only NPC to request Embers of Night, and does so four times, for a total of 90 Embers. There is a further quest update for 120 Embers, but no NPC tied to it as of the moment.
It is likely that the quest will be expanded on either during Early Access updates, or during the Full Release.
