Level 40 is the max level for Titan Quest 2's Early Access Period. Get to know the max level and tips to level up in this guide!

Level 40 is the Max Level reachable in the game as of Early Access release last August 2, 2025. This is expected to change when the game reaches its full release stage so stay tuned here for updates!

Your Level is shown on the top left of the screen, although it doesn't show how much EXP you currently have. To access this, press your Esc key and check Attributes and click Core Stats to the left to see your full level details.

Should you wish to farm with enemies in the map or want to fight higher level enemies for better rewards, you can visit any Ritual Shrine and choose Rituals of Ares and then choose any of the difficulty modifiers that will improve reward drops, including EXP at the cost of the game being harder.
Higher level enemies mean higher EXP, and you will gain more EXP by taking down enemies at least 2-3 levels above you compared to fighting at safer levels.

The game features a sizable number of side quests that can aid the player get more EXP as they progress and explore the world of Titan Quest II. Complete these sidequests to not only gain items and weapons but also extra EXP to level up faster!

Taking down bosses and elite enemies will provide the player more EXP than regular enemies after defeating them. Should you start to get a good build going, you can try and farm bosses and elites to quickly gain EXP!

Once you gain access to the ability to Resummon Bosses from the Fate Remembered World Quest, you can start farming Hippokampos for EXP as it has the best yield amongst current options.

One of the main ways to receive good EXP is to progress the main story of the game! Progressing the story allows you to explore later parts of the game which means enemies encountered and quests given will reward the player with more rewards including EXP!
