After completing the campaign, travel through the world of Titan Quest and complete the remaining World Quests for rewards and additional EXP.
Uncover the whole map and unlock all waypoints to make traveling easier. This is also good preparation for future updates to make moving around easier.

Take this chance to grind experience and max out your character's level to 40. Currently, during the early access, 40 is the maximum level you can reach; this has the chance to change once the full game comes out.
Leveling Guide: How to Reach Max Level

This is also a good time to start experimenting with your build. Don’t be afraid to respec and re-allocate your skills to see what can work better for your play style.

Start farming Unique and Infrequent items. Not only can these provide better affixes to improve your stats, but items you can't use can be sold for a high price. These can be farmed by defeating bosses in-game or by trying your luck with the Scavenger.

One of the best bosses to farm is Hippokampos. It can drop a Unique Weapon and provides a ton of loot and EXP when defeated.
Hippokampos Boss Guide

Use the Ritual Shrine to raise your minimum enemy level to your current character level, this is a pricey upgrade through. You can also raise your current enemy levels by doing the Ritual of Ares. This is different from the first ritual since it doesn't change the minimum level of the enemy.

Start preparing for the full release by building your character to take on more challenging enemies.

During Early Access, mastery is locked at tier 3. Take this chance to pool your Divinity Points for when tier 4 skills become unlocked.

To increase your survivability, start collecting decent gear to build up your character stats. This is especially true if you plan on raising the levels of your enemies.
List of Armor

Start collecting Molly; these can be picked up around the map and are used in secret places and puzzles. These are quite hard to find, so having a stock of this ready in your inventory can help your progress in the future.

Endgame starts once you complete Act 1 of the campaign. There will be a message encouraging you to continue exploring the world of Titan Quest 2 as the devs gear up for future content of the game.
