How to Unlock Ancient Embers

Light up the braziers in Fiends' Hollow following the correct order. Doing this will grant you 10 Embers of Night as a reward and start the Ancient Embers quest.

Quest Can Be Started by Getting Your First Embers of Night
While solving the ancient brazier puzzle is the earliest way to unlock the quest, any Embers of Night earned through solving puzzles in the overworld or completing the Headhunt World Quest will also unlock Ancient Embers.
Ancient Embers Walkthrough Objectives
Collect Embers of Night and Give Them to Ianthe
After collecting your first Embers of Night bundle, head to Pyrgos Village and speak to Ianthe found northwest from the village's Rebirth Waypoint, next to a statue.
Upon handing over 1 Ember of Night to her, she'll begin to ask for more of the currency starting with 30 Embers of Night. This will continue to increase in increments of 30 for each bundle you submit, until she asks for 120 Embers of Night.
Farm Embers of Night From a Chest in Northern Flooded Farmlands
If you're looking for more Embers of Night, the best way to gather them is through Ploutos' Offering Chest located in the Northern Flooded Farmlands, northeast from the Scavenger.
This chest grants 5 Embers of Night each time after an initial offering of 100 Gold, and can be farmed indefinitely, refreshing quickly whenever you log out and back into the game.
Quest is Currently Unachievable in Early Access
After submitting a bundle of 90 Embers of Night to Ianthe, she will require 120 Embers of Night next. Note that this objective is currently impossible to complete during Early Access, with the quest likely to receive a continuation in future patches or on the game's full release.
We'll be sure to update the page with more details on how to get 120 Embers of Night once we discover how to do so. Although, feel free to share any methods you have in the comments below!
