As of the August 1, 2025 Early Access, there is an unstable multiplayer co-op option in Titan Quest 2. See if multiplayer and co-op is available in Titan Quest 2, as well as when these functions will be implemented in this guide!

Is Multiplayer and Co-op Available?
Preview Version of Multiplayer Available
As of Titan Quest 2's Early Access, there is a multiplayer and co-op Option in the launcher. However, this is noted down by the Devs as currently unstable, and is meant to serve as a peek into what Multiplayer may look like.
The more official and polished launcher option for Early Access is strictly single-player, with no plans of adding multiplayer to this launcher option.
Further Multiplayer Updates Confirmed
Further polishes for the Multiplayer function have been confirmed for future updates via Titan Quest 2's latest roadmap. Though it will not be a part of the first upcoming content update, it is slated come down the line.
How to Play Multiplayer
- Open the Multiplayer Version of the Client
- Select the Host Multiplayer Option
- Join or Invite Via the Platform Overlay
Open the Multiplayer Version of the Client
To play the multiplayer version of Titan Quest 2's Early Access release, open the game from the Steam launcher and select the Multiplayer Option when prompted.
Select the Host Multiplayer Option
When the game boots up, there will be a new button on the home screen that is dedicated for hosting a multiplayer game. Selecting this will take you to the Character Select screen, where you can chose which character to co-op with.
Note that characters from the regular Early Access version will not be able to play on the Multiplayer version. Characters marked as Solo Self Found (SSF) will also be unable to join Multiplayer games.
Join or Invite Via the Platform Overlay
Once you load in, you can then open the In-Game Overlay to invite or join friends as usual. Do note that the devs have stated that this Multiplayer build is unstable, and you may encounter bugs when playing with friends.
