Meteor Cannon Earth is a level 22 single mastery build focusing on Earth's damage output to burst down enemies in battle. It utilizes Fire Damage, dealing damage-over-time inside the ring while nuking them with Roiling Magma casts for huge AoE damage.

The main downside to this strong damage build is its high cost in Energy and Health. Most of Earth's abilities deal Exhaust, which burns through your energy quickly. Furthermore, Overload abilities also deal damage to your character. To assist you, use your potions and barrier for the constant resource drain.

The stats shown above is a sample build of what you want to go for when building your character.

You want to get Ornate Armor for the Meteor Cannon Earth build. Ornate Armor is preferred because of its implicit stats that give you natural resistances, letting you soak up more damage from your Overload abilities.

For your weapon, the Staff is your main option for its implicit stat that boosts Fire Damage. You won't be using it for attacking, as your main goal is to increase Fire and Spell Damage for your spells, with general buffs for resource management, like Health and Energy Regen.

The Meteor Cannon Earth build prioritizes you leveling up your Roiling Magma and Ring of Flame to get Overload and damage modifiers for them. Enhance them even further with Earth Enchantment and Ignite to improve their damage, with Earth Enchantment providing some durability with the extra Fire Resistance.

As for your passives, your main priority is to get both damage and sustain to maximize your active abilities' damage. Grand Magic, Earth Attunement, Combustion, and Overheat will be your primary damage buffers, while Magma Shell is recommended for durability.

Attribute Priority

Attribute Prioritization
Might ▶ Vigor

Might is the best attribute to get for the Meteor Cannon Earth build, as it directly upgrades the stats your Earth character has, and it also allows you to equip better Ornate Armor for your character.

Resolve, a secondary attribute that buffs your Fire Damage, is increased the more you invest in Might. We also suggest investing some stats into Vigor for more survivability, and it also allocates some points to Resolve. Try to go for a 1:3 ratio, where Vigor gets a point for every 3 Might.

All Attributes Explained

Playstyle and Skill Rotation

The Meteor Cannon Earth build revolves around activating all your Fire Damage buffing abilities, then bursting enemies down with Roiling Magma. The rotation is as follows:

  1. Activate Ring of Flame and Earth Enchantment before combat.
  2. Enter combat and use Ignite to reduce enemy Fire Resistance.
  3. Keep close to enemies and hit them with Roiling Magma.
  4. Continue using Roiling Magma to enhance your Ring of Flame, dealing supplementary sustained damage.
  5. Use your Health and Energy potions to mitigate the high resource drain. Activate Barrier if needed.

Do note that this playstyle relies on your skillshots hitting and they can miss, as is shown in the video. This build depletes health and energy fast, so using your potions is essential. Barrier can also be quite helpful for the extra protection, even if you don't have it upgraded.
