A useful assault debuffer that can be positioned in front of any enemy and be counted on to disable them for one turn, giving her team more time to deal damage to your team.

Her weakness is that her Faint won't work on enemies that have debuff resistance or the "Unhindered" buff. It will also only serve to strengthen witches that thrive on debuffs to deal more damage. She also has to be properly geared with SPD runes to be able to have a good chance to inflict Faint in the first place.

Transcendent Melody

Primavera's primary function as an assault debuffer is dependent on her ability to inflict Faint and Buff Immunity on enemies. Transcendent Melody has a chance to inflict Faint on any enemy in front of Primavera as long as her SPD is higher than theirs.

Her second active skill, Les Rose Bleue, inflicts Buff Immunity, which prevents the enemy from getting buffs from their allies, denying them of the benefits of those buffs and blunting their potential damage.

Primavera is also a good buffer to have along, with her Songstress' Gospel passive giving both a 2% ATK and 2% SPD buff. That 2% SPD buff is further increased the more allies Primavera still has in battle, giving her team a higher chance of acting before the enemy team (and dealing more damage).

She also has buffs for herself in the form of a 35% ATK buff, as well as a 100% Debuff RES buff, which makes her able to resist and Faints, ATK reductions, and other debilitating abilities.

Primavera Hard Counters

Cordie

Cordie has the Unhindered buff, which prevents her from being afflicted with movement-hindering debuffs (including Faint). This eventually turns into full Debuff Immunity, making her immune from any debuff. She is also typically built with high SPD in mind, so a properly geared Cordie could outspeed an enemy Primavera and take her out first.

Ophelia

Stella

There's a good chance that Ophelia will end up damaging and eventually killing Primavera with her high Counter skill even if the latter manages to inflict Faint on her.

Meanwhile, Stella's second passtive "Sovereign of the Stars" could wind up silencing Prima and her allies instead.

Kaguya

Aside from having Counter Shift, Kaguya also has a passive that allows her to debuff an enemy's PM DEF Break and ATK for 2 turns, weakening them while getting damaged by Kaguya. Only note that Kaguya could still get Fainted so you may need someone who can cleanse her.

When on the offensive, a Primavera team can be easily taken out with a standard team consisting of Cordie, buffed by Merlyn and Mimi's Resonance, another Primavera, and Lunalynn. Either put Primavera in front of the enemy Primavera, or Lunalynn silences her, or Cordie gets a shot off and takes her out in the first turn.

Witches Not To Use Against Primavera

Florence

Florence could easily be outsped by Primavera, followed by Debuff Immunity which effectively defangs Florence (as she's dependent on critical hits and CRIT buffs from Merlyn to deal damage).

Soltina

Even though Soltina is tanky with her multi-barrier, she can still be Fainted by Soltina, which gives the enemy team a chance to destroy her multi-barrier and take her out afterward.

Tips for Beating Primavera

Outspeed Primavera

To avoid getting Fainted by Primavera, you could have your main attacker have a higher SPD than she does. This means a well-equipped Cordie or another Primavera even. Primavera won't be able to cause any damage if she gets outsped in the first turn.

Use Units With Debuff Immunity

If Primavera can't be outsped, using units that can't be Fainted would be your second course of action. Units like Cordie, or even Fortina (who can cast Unhindered on herself and the unit with the highest ATK on your team) can help in limiting the damage an enemy Primavera can do.

Use Counter Against Her

Positioning a unit that can kill Primavera with Counter (or give her a debuff if she successfully inflicts Faint on them) is another way of countering Primavera if you've exhausted all the other options.
