This guide will show you how to make it stop raining in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (BotW). With no Song of Storms to change the weather, this guide will show you how to stop the rain when you want to climb.
List of Contents
Some areas in Hyrule have a high probability for the rain to pour down. The simplest way to make the rain stop is to either sleep in an Inn or wait at a campfire and let the rain pass by. If you have firewood, simply get under some shelter, then use a fire-type weapon to ignite a campfire, before choosing how long to wait.
Also, observe what time it usually rains, so you can travel without getting wet.
If you encountered a Thunder Wizzrobe or Electric Wizzrobe while exploring, they will use their skill to manipulate the weather and cause a thunderstorm. You can get rid of the thunderstorm by defeating them.
Why is it raining even though you haven't encountered any Thunder or Electric Wizzrobe, or it doesn't usually rain in that area? The answer is quite simple, that area must be part of a quest. You'll have to find and finish the quest first to get rid of the rain.
If you have tried repeatedly to sleep or wait at a fire, you may want to search the area to see what kind of quests it is associated with!
