Talk to Teebo at the entrance of Hateno Village during the day to start the quest.

Talk to Teebo in Hateno Village. He wants to show you something so follow his lead. |

Talk to the Horned Statue, who will take one of your containers (Heart or Stamina) and start a bargain. |
| 3 | Talk to the statue | Ask the statue to give back the container he took from you and he will give you two choices: a Heart Container or a Stamina Vessel. You can take whichever you want and still complete the quest. |

Aside from the container that you got back, you can now go to the statue to reallocate your containers for 220 Rupees, 100 Rupees to give a container and 120 Rupees to receive either of the two.
Though reallocating is pricey, this can be useful if you chose a different container from the Goddess Statue by mistake or if you need a certain amount of hearts or stamina such as for pulling the Master Sword, which requires 13 hearts.
