Start the quest by talking to Kula found at the base of the Great Deku Tree in Korok Forest.

Go to the base of the Great Deku Tree and find Kula who will ask you to bring a "rod with a power of ice". |
| 2 | Defeat an Ice Wizzrobe | Find an Ice Wizzrobe and take its Ice Rod. |
| 3 | Return to Kula | Show the Ice Rod to Kula to receive a Silver Rupee. |
| Bring a Blizzard Rod (Optional) |
Optional: Show a Blizzard Rod obtained from Blizzrobes instead to receive a Gold Rupee. |
Showing an Ice Rod to Kula will reward you with a Silver Rupee. If you put an extra effort by showing a Blizzard Rod, you'll receive a Gold Rupee instead.
