Photo #1 | Sacred Ground Ruins in Central Hyrule

# Guide
1
Optional: Talk to Pikango in Woodland Stable
At the base of Eldin Canyon is Woodland Stable. You can show the photo to Pikango to get some tips and advice.

Pikango: Hmm... This picture shows Hyrule Castle in the distance.

They say there used to be a stage where knighting ceremonies were performed, just south of Hyrule Castle.

Go to Central Hyrule
Make your way to Central Hyrule. We recommend going on horseback for the trip.

Warning: Guardians will be around Hyrule Castle, so stay as far from it as possible.
2
Go to the Sacred Ground Ruins
South of the castle is a small forest, and the Sacred Ground Ruins is found at the center.

If you are not ready to fight Guardians, you can come back for this memory at a later time.
3
Defeat the Guardian Stalkers
A Guardian Stalker will be at the front of the ruins, so defeat it first by using Ancient weapons and shields.
4
Recall the Memory
Go to the glowing spot, and press A to recall the memory.

Photo #2 | Lake Kolomo in Central Hyrule

# Guide
1
Optional: Talk to Pikango in Riverside Stable
Southeast of Hyrule Field is Riverside Stable. You can talk to Pikango to get information on the memory location.

Pikango: Hmm... That's Lake Kolomo, isn't it? It's an oddly shaped lake west of here.

There's a forest on the west side of it. Yes, I can see some trees here as well. It must be over there.

Get to Lake Kolomo
From the stable, you can take the path, and go west to Lake Kolomo.
2
Go to the Forest in the Left
Go to the forest on the left until you see a small cliff by the forest border.
3
Recall the Memory
Go to the glowing spot, and press A to recall the memory.

Photo #3 | Ancient Columns in Tabantha

# Guide
1
Optional: Talk to Pikango in Tabantha Bridge Stable
At the boundary of the region is Tabantha Bridge Stable. You can show the photo to Pikango to get information.

Pikango: Ah, these are...the ancient columns.

If you cross the Tabantha Great Bridge over there, there's a large cliff to the south. The ruins are atop that cliff.

Cross the Tabantha Great Bridge
Past the stable, turn left and cross the Tabantha Great Bridge.
2
Climb the Cliff
Climb the cliff to the left. The ruins will be close to the cliff edge.

Beware of the Guardian Skywatchers along the road.
3
Recall the Memory
Go to the glowing spot, and press A to recall the memory.

Photo #4 | Kara Kara Bazaar in Gerudo Desert

# Guide
1
Optional: Talk to Pikango in Gerudo Canyon Stable
At the edge of Gerudo Canyon is the stable. You can talk to Pikango to show him the picture.

Pikango: Hmm. This picture... Oh! Isn't this the Kara Kara Bazaar?

It's an oasis just outside Gerudo Town. If you head southwest from here, you can't miss it.

Go to Kara Kara Bazaar
Past the Desert Gateway, Kara Kara Bazaar can be seen from a distance. Horses will not be able to go further, so you can shield-surf your way instead. The desert is hot in the day, and cold in the night. If you do not have heat and cold resistance armor, make some Elixirs at the stable.
2
Recall the Memory
Go to the glowing spot, and press A to recall the memory.
▲ Captured Memories Location Map ▲

Photo #5 | Eldin Canyon in Eldin

# Guide
1
Optional: Talk to Pikango in Goron City
You can find Pikango around Goron City to show him a photo of the Eldin Canyon.

Pikango: Hmm... I can see Hyrule Castle and the Great Hyrule Forest, which neighbors it to the north.

Looking down on the Great Hyrule Forest from the southeast, you can see scenery like this.

Climb from Woodland Stable
If you talk to Pikango, he will mention the Woodland Stable, giving a hint to climb the stable for "an incredible view".

The stable is found southwest of Eldin, at the base of Eldin Canyon, and you can climb up to get to the memory location.

Alternative: Glide from Eldin Tower
You can also glide down from Eldin Tower down to the mountain, and walk your way until you get to the spot in between Hyrule Castle and the Great Hyrule Forest.
2
Go to the Cliff Edge
The memory location can be found in front of a circle of small rocks, where you can also get a Korok Seed from.
3
Recall the Memory
Go to the glowing spot, and press A to recall the memory.
▲ Captured Memories Location Map ▲

Photo #6 | Irch Plain in Hyrule Ridge

# Guide
1
Optional: Talk to Pikango in Serenne Stable
Talk to Pikango to get an idea of where the memory is located.

Pikango: Ah... Here you can see Hyrule Castle in the distance. So this must be north of the castle.

The south side of the castle is where Castle Town used to be, but I don't see any buildings here, which means...

Yes, indeed, I'd say this is likely on the north side, across the castle moat. It should be southeast of this stable.

Go to Irch Plain
From the stable, take a horse with you, and go southeast to Irch Plain.

Alternative: Glide from Salari Hill
You can also glide from Monya Toma Ha Dahamar Shrine up on Salari Hill, and go forward from there.
2
Go to the Large Tree
Past the pond is a hill with a large tree. Go to it to find the glowing spot.
3
Recall the Memory
Go to the glowing spot, and press A to recall the memory.
▲ Captured Memories Location Map ▲

Photo #7 | West Necluda in Dueling Peaks

# Guide
1
Optional: Talk to Pikango in Highland Stable
You can show the photo to Pikango at the stable to get some clues on where the memory location is.

Pikango:Hmm... Ah, these two tiny stone statues depicted here...and that faint view of the Bridge of Hylia in the distance...

From this angle, I think perhaps this is the northeast shore of Lake Hylia.

Probably Scout's Hill or perhaps a little further east of there.

Fast Travel to Ja Baij Shrine
The closest shrine to the memory location is Ja Baij Shrine. It is high enough to glide down to far areas.
2
Go to Scout's Hill
Glide down to Scout's Hill, and climb at the top to see where the memory location is.
3
Glide Across Hylia River
From atop the hill, look to the east to see a large tree on the hill across the river. Glide down to it.
4
Recall the Memory
Go to the glowing spot, and press A to recall the memory.
▲ Captured Memories Location Map ▲

Photo #8 | Hyrule Castle in Central Hyrule

# Guide
1
Optional: Talk to Pikango in Lurelin Village
Pikango is on top of a hill in Lurelin Village, to the left of the general store. Unlike all other pictures, this is the only one where you can find Pikango in a place far from the memory location.

Pikango:Hm? Oh, yes, this is Hyrule Castle. It appears to be a view of it from before the Great Calamity.

Rather than the castle, it focuses on the surrounding cloisters. What a fascinating composition for a picture...

Travel from the Nearest Stable
The memory is found on the west side of the castle. If you have it on your map, the fastest way to get there is from Serenne Stable in Hyrule Ridge, or Woodland Stable in Woodland.
2
Go to the Castle Moat
Make your way to the left side of Hyrule Castle. There will be a lot of Guardians patrolling the area, so be prepared.

Warning: The castle is one of the most dangerous places in Hyrule. If you are not ready to face tough monsters and Guardians yet, you can come back for this memory later.

Optional: Defeat the Blue Hinox
On the west side of the castle is a sleeping Blue Hinox. You can defeat it to get weapons and materials, or just quietly pass by it.
3
Glide Down to the Spire
Your landmark is the tall spire (a.k.a. Zelda's Study). Make sure you have enough stamina, and glide down to that direction.
4
Enter the Castle Premises
Enter the gate closest to you, avoiding the vision of the Skywatchers.
5
Find Princess Zelda's Study
After entering Castle Hyrule Climb up to Princess Zelda's Study.
6
Climb the Cliffs to the Right
Instead of following the staircase, go to the right side and climb the cliffs until you reach the base of the spire.
7
Use Revali's Gale and Climb the Spire
It is hard to climb the bottom part of the spire because of the protruding pillars. If you have Revali's Gale, use it to give you a boost, and climb until you reach the door at the top.

Alternative: Climb the Connecting Tower
If you do not have Revali's Gale, you can climb the tower connected to the spire instead. Beware of the Decayed Guardian to the right, and glide to the other side.
8
Cross the Bridge
Make sure the coast is clear before you run off to the bridge.
9
Recall the Memory
Go to the glowing spot, and press A to recall the memory.

Optional: Read Princess Zelda's Journal
On the other side of the bridge is the spire, or Princess Zelda's Study. You can take a visit to view her research journal.

Photo #9 | Spring of Power in Akkala

# Guide
1
Optional: Talk to Pikango in East Akkala Stable
Just before Akkala Ancient Tech Lab is the stable. You can talk to Pikango to ask about the picture.

Pikango: Hmm.. I know I've seen that spring and that Goddess Statue before...

There was a place like this at the ruins in North Akkala Valley, to the west of here

Head West from East Akkala Stable
From East Akkala Stable, stray from the road and directly head west until you see a spring below the plains

Alternative: Go North from South Akkala Stable
If you are in South Akkala Stable, take the path to the left and keep going north until you go past Ordorac Quarry below to the left.
2
Glide Down to the Spring of Power
You can avoid the Guardian Skywatchers at the quarry, and glide down directly to the spring, instead.
3
Recall the Memory
Go to the glowing spot, and press A to recall the memory.

Photo #10 | Sanidin Park Ruins in Hyrule Ridge

# Guide
1
Talk to Pikango in Outskirt Stable
Just below the Great Plateau, you can find the stable. Talk to Pikango to get clues on where the photo is taken.

Pikango: Oh! That horse statue! This is at the Sanidin Park Ruins.

Yes, there are some park ruins on Safula Hill to the northwest of here. You'll find this horse statue there.

Cross Manhala Bridge
From the stable, go north and turn left at the bridge.
2
Follow the Path to Safula Hill
At the first intersection, turn right. Continue following the path to Safula Hill.
3
Recall the Memory
Sanidin Park Ruins is along the path, so it will be hard to miss. Go up the stairs to the glowing spot, and press A to recall the memory.

Photo #11 | Lanayru Road - East Gate in Necluda

How to Find the Eleventh Memory

# Guide
1
Optional: Talk to Pikango in Kakariko Village
After completing Pikango's quest, you can talk to him in front of the Goddess Statue in Kakariko Village. The first memory you can show him is on Lanayru Road.

Pikango: Hmm. A gate and a snowy mountain...

Ah! There's a big snowy mountain east of this village. It's called Mount Lanayru.

I think there was a gate at the bottom of Mount Lanayru, west of Naydra Snowfield.

Trek from Kakariko Village
This is the short route if you have a horse with you, because you can go past the Great Fairy Cotera Fountain, and turn right to Lanayru Road - West Gate.

Glide from Hateno Village
You can also fast-travel to Hateno Ancient Tech Lab, and glide your way to Mount Lanayru. Note that the area around the mountain is cold, so you should have Cold Resistance food or armor with you.
2
Recall the Memory
Go to the glowing spot, and press A to recall the memory.
▲ Captured Memories Location Map ▲

Photo #12 | Hyrule Field in Central Hyrule

# Guide
1
Optional: Talk to Pikango in Wetland Stable
If you are in the stable, you can talk to Pikango to ask for clues about the picture. The location is just on the other side of the stable.

Pikango: That forest... I get the feeling I've seen it before.

I can't say for certain, but I believe this may depict the forest just south of here.

No... Wait... Maybe it's the forest on the other side of the river, northeast of the Bottomless Swamp?

Cross Hylia River
You can take a horse to pass Rebonae Bridge, or you can glide your way across Hylia River.
2
Go to the Forest North of Bottomless Swamp
Head to the south, and enter the forest in between the cliff and river. Follow the path until you see the glowing spot.
3
Recall the Memory
Go to the glowing spot, and press A to recall the memory.
