Soaring Above the Starry Sky Quest Location
Go to Stoneville or Abandoned District
The Soaring Above the Starry Sky quest can be started from two locations: Stoneville and the Abandoned District. Despite having markers in both places, it is considered a single quest, and progress made from one location will apply to the quest overall.
Option 1: Go to Stoneville
Teleport to the Dye Workshop Stonetree Warp Spire in Stoneville, jump down to the small lumber camp at its base, then speak to a man with "???" over his head to initiate the quest.
Option 2: Go to Abandoned District
Teleport directly to the Stellar Fishing Ground Peak Warp Spire and speak to Curious Pinny right beside the spire to begin the quest in Abandoned District.
Recommended to Start the Quest in Stoneville
We recommend beginning the quest in Stoneville, as this location provides the intended chronological start of the storyline. Starting here ensures that you experience the narrative cohesively from beginning to end without missing any exposition.

Stoneville Objectives
| 1 | Go to the Stellar Fishing Ground and Talk to Pinny |

 After speaking to Elron, he will enlist Nikki's help in discovering the Astral Swan and asks her to deliver two Voice Tubes to a Piecey named Pinny in the Abandoned District. Teleport to the Stellar Fishing Ground Peak Warp Spire, or use the Mirth Market Skypass to reach your destination, and speak to Pinny beside the Warp Spire. |
Abandoned District Objectives
| 1 | Go to Lensie's House |

 Speaking to Pinny will lead you to Lensie, a Piecey who dreams of seeing an Astral Swan in flight. Travel west of the Stellar Fishing Grounds and descend to the base of the Stonetree to locate the ruins of an old house. There, you’ll find Granny Lensie, who appears to be napping on the ground. Talk to Lensie and hear his wish to see an Astral swan fly once more. Pinny will discuss how to do so by grooming it, then flying alongside the bird after. Head back to the Stellar Fishing Ground Peak Warp Spire after you conversation concludes. |

| 2 | Groom the Astral Swan and Fly With It |
 Walk toward Crescent Pond southwest of the Stellar Fishing Ground Peak Warp Spire, and watch as an Astral Swan flies overhead then lands on the field. Approach it with your Animal Grooming ability and brush it clean to be given an Astral Feather. Afterward, make sure to walk up to the edge of the cliff it's facing, then spam the ability button with your Floral Gliding ability outfit equipped to trigger the cutscene where Nikki is in flight with the Astral Swan. This part of the quest is known to be bugged. See a fix for it below if you are experiencing any issues! |

| 3 | Return and Look for Pinny and Lensie |
 Once your flight concludes, find Pinny northeast on the Stellar Fishing Ground Trail. They reveal Lensie's somber passing and urge you to return to Stonville in ther stead to report back to Elron. |

| 4 | Go to Stoneville and Find Elron |
 Teleport to the Dye Workshop Stonetree Warp Spire and speak to Elron in the small camp below. Nikki returns the Voice Tubes that he handed over, and the quest concludes after Pinny officially becomes Elron's assistant in the Wondrous Life Association. |
Soaring Above the Starry Sky Known Bugs and Fixes
Stay on the Astral Swan's Flight Path
After triggering the cutscene where Nikki soars with the Astral Swan, do not press any buttons on your controller or keyboard to steer; Simply let the flight continue uninterrupted.
After a few moments, dialogue will play, prompting you to press a button to continue soaring. The sequence will proceed smoothly, ending with Nikki and the Astral Swan landing back at the Stellar Fishing Grounds Peak.

Anonymous 11 monthsI groomed the Swan, changed into the class ability and even the outfit itself, walk towards the cliff, but no event is triggering :(

Got it now. You're supposed to press the gliding ability button next to the swan, not walk to the cliff like this guide says. Then you just don't move in the event sequence, press float when it pops up and you're golden!
