Shine! Party King! will only become available upon completing the prerequisite Exclusive Quest, Chasing the Cursed Mask.

Note that both Shine! Party King! and its prerequisite are limited-time quests, and will no longer be available once the Wish Carnival Party ends on April 28, 2025.

Shine! Party King! Walkthrough

Return the Carnival Mask to Morda

Once you've recovered the Carnival Mask from the prerequisite quest, Chasing the Cursed Mask, head back to the Floating Wish Isle and speak to Morda to initiate some dialogue.

Catch Up to Morda

After the short cutscene plays, Morda will start to fly in a circle around the central statue. To catch him, stand in his path of flight. Once done correctly, some more cutscenes will play when he hits Nikki.

Find Morda in the Illusion Zone

You will find yourself in an area called an Illusion Zone, and will spot Morda at the far end of the area. You'll have to traverse the zone using transparent platforms that are hard to see, and can disappear momentarily.

There is only one path to follow, so make your way over to where Morda is and speak with him for some dialogue. Once you're finished talking, approach the golden mask to exit the zone.

The Platforms Reappear Intermittently

The disappearing platforms will actually reappear intermittently, so if you're having trouble seeing them you can wait for the visual cue of a water drop to highlight any platforms you haven't stepped on.

Also, note that the platforms are safe to land on, even when completely invisible. Just make sure you're landing on one, and not jumping into open air!

Talk to Moosda and Wait for the Party

Once back to the Floating Wish Isle, speak to Moosda for some more dialogue. Once you're finished speaking, head to the center of the isle and interact with the quest marker to wait for the party.

Watch the ensuing cutscenes, and the quest will be complete after they conclude!

Completing Shine! Party King! will also award the Party Star Sketch, a Face Decoration that is similar to the Carnival Mask from the events of the quest!

Event-Exclusive Quest for Wish Carnival Party

Shine! Party King! is an event-exclusive Quest that will run alongside the Wish Carnival Party event that started on March 26, 2025, and will no longer be available once the event ends on April 28, 2025.

Note that completing this quest also unlocks the Wishing Dance Party event, alongside Band Dream Rescue, Dance the Hat Off, and Sandpit Snoozers. Be sure to complete this quest for its rewards before time is up!
