How to Perfect Dodge a Hinox

Dodge Sideways When It Runs Towards You

Keep your distance from the Hinox. It will try to close the gap by charging towards you. When it does, lock on (push in the right analog stick), then jump sideways (tap B while holding the left analog stick to the side). When timed right, a prompt to Flurry Rush will appear.

Dodge Sideways When It Tries To Pummel You

Stay by the Hinox's feet. It will raise its fist and try to strike at you from above. When it does, lock on (push in the right analog stick), then jump sideways (tap B while holding the left analog stick to the side). When timed right, a prompt to Flurry Rush will appear.

How to Perfect Dodge a Lynel

Dodge Sideways After the Cryonis Prompt

Keep your distance from the Lynel. It will try to close the gap by charging towards you. Normally, a Cryonis prompt can be used to summon an ice block in his way to stun him, but to perform the perfect dodge, jump sideways right before he hits you. When timed right, a prompt to Flurry Rush will appear.

Dodge Backwards After the Stasis Prompt

Stay close to the Lynel. In an attempt to push you back, it will spin around. Normally, a Stasis prompt can be used to stop him from charging his attack to buy you time to retreat, but to to perform the perfect dodge, jump backwards in between his swings. When timed right, a prompt to Flurry Rush will appear.

Dodge the Explosive Strike Backwards

Stay close to the Lynel. Occasionally, the Lynel will stand on it's back legs as it prepares to hit you with an explosive strike. Run towards the edge of the explosion's range, then jump backwards just before the Lynel strikes the ground. When timed right, a prompt to Flurry Rush will appear.
