The Genius Eccentric

Robbie is a Sheikah researcher who focuses on studying Guardians. He plays a major role in the story of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, as one of the researchers who studies the mysterious egg-like guardian. He, together with Purah, are trying to learn more about the origin of this guardian to unlock the secrets behind it.

Missions where Robbie Appears

Relentless as a Waterfall

As the heroes rush to Akkala Citadel to rescue the Hylian Captains, you will find Robbie holed up within the tower. After getting to him, a Malice Guardian breaks into the room and you'll have to take it down and protect Robbie at the same time.

After taking down the Malice Guardian, Robbie will come up with the idea of baiting the other enemies onto the bridge and destroying it to make the enemies fall to their doom. This is a nice nod to know the history of why the bridge to the Citadel is broken in Breath of the Wild!

Is Robbie Playable?

Robbie's profile can be unlocked in the gallery. However, as of Version 1.01, Robbie is not a playable character for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Although, since Robbie's character model and voices are available in the game files, there might be a chance he becomes a playable character in the future.

Notably, Robbie, together with Purah, was featured in the trailer for Age of Calamity's Expansion Pass. In the trailer, he stood alongside the other playable characters. This could hint that Robbie will soon join the roster.
