How to Use the Sheikah Sensor

Shows Where to Find Materials

The Sheikah Sensor is a handy tool that shows where to find specific materials around the world, much like its Breath of the Wild counterpart. The sensor registers materials and shows specific Services or Battles where they can be acquired!

Register a Specific Material

Register Materials using the Sheikah Sensor

The Sheikah Sensor in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity registers specific materials in your inventory that you want to farm. This is useful for finding cooking ingredients, as well as items needed for quests.

This even works even if you do not have the material in your inventory, as long as you have obtained it at some point in the past!

Edit Registered Materials

Edit Materials Registered

You can register specific materials by pressing the + Button and going to the Materials section. Just press the A Button and it will register to the Sheikah Sensor! You may also edit materials registered by pressing the X Button.

The Sheikah Sensor for specific materials has 5 slots during its initial unlock, and can be fully upgraded to 10 slots!

Register a Specific Quest

Register a Quest

The Sheikah Sensor can also be used to register quests and tag missing materials to finish the quest! It registers all materials you need to complete the quest, so it is very handy if there is a particular quest you want to complete!

To register quests to the Sheikah Sensor, just go to the Quest node on the map and press the X Button! The sensor can register up to 2 quests simultaneously, and can be fully upgraded to register up to 10 quests!

Where to Buy or Farm

Where to Buy or Farm

After tagging materials, Services or Battles where the materials drop will pulse green on the map! You can then go ahead and buy or farm your heart out until you get what you need!

Unlocked by completing the Quest titled Feed the Research
