Mountain Peak Log Map Location (BotW) - Secret of the Snowy Peaks Shrine Quest
Look for the Log		 Find the Mountain Peak Log in a ruined house in between Mount Granajh and Daval Peak. Read the log and start the quest.

Prepare a Snowball

Prepare a Snowball (BotW) - Secret of the Snowy Peaks Shrine Quest
Prepare a Snowball		 Sit by the fire until noon and prepare a snowball. It has to be big enough to cover the middle part of the pedestal with a shadow.

Wait until 4 pm (BotW) - Secret of the Snowy Peaks Shrine Quest
Wait until 4:00pm		 The pedestal south of the ruined house will activate at 4 pm, so be sure to get your snowball ready before 4:00pm. You will have to be quick as the pedestal will deactivate at 5:30 pm.

Cast a Shadow

Cast a Shadow (BotW) - Secret of the Snowy Peaks Shrine Quest
Cast a Shadow		 Carry the snowball and align the shadow of the snowball to the pedestal. The pedestal should turn blue upon casting a shadow, and that will clear the quest.

Clearing the quest unlocks the Suma Sahma Shrine.

Quest Start In a diary left long ago, there were a few lines on investigations concerning the mysterious pedestal.

"When the snowy mountain pedestal glows, cast a cold shadow onto its core."

You gather that there is a secret hidden in the pedestal nestled in the snowcapped peaks.
Quest Clear Casting a shadow on the mysteriously glowing pedestal revealed none other than an ancient shrine!
