Talk to Paya
Go to Impa's House and talk to Paya. Paya will tell you about the stolen heirloom, and that will be the start of the quest.

Note: You can only get this quest if you've finished these side quests:
Flown the Coop
Find the Fairy Fountain
By the Firefly's Light

Follow Dorian

Wait Until Night
Sleep in an Inn or sit by the fire until night and go near Impa's house.

Follow Dorian
Wait for one of the guards named Dorian to leave his post in front of Impa's house. Sneak behind him until he reaches the forest, east of the Great Fairy Fountain in Kakariko Village. Be careful following Dorian as you will have to restart the quest if he finds out you're following him.

Optional: Wear Stealth Armor
To increase your chances of not being seen, wear the Stealth Armor as you follow Dorian into the forest. You can also drink some stealth food or elixirs to boost your stealth.

Defeat the Yiga Blademaster

Defeat the Yiga Blademaster
Once Dorian reaches the orange-glowing platform in the forest, get to him, and the Yiga Blademaster will come out. Defeat the Yiga Blademaster to get the stolen heirloom back.

Unlock the Shrine

Unlock the Shrine
Place the stolen heirloom into the orange-glowing platform (pedestal) to unlock the Shrine. Unlocking the shrine will complete the quest.

Quest Start The heirloom at Impa's manor has been stolen. Dorian and Cado, the manor's gatekeepers, say that is should have been impossible to steal with Paya keeping close watch over it all day long.
Your best lead so far is the rumors circulating about suspicious figures seen lately at night.
Quest Clear It turned out that the heirloom thieves wo struck Impa's manor belonged to the Yiga Clan. The incident was revenge for Dorian attempting to leave the guild of assassins.
After you solved the problem, you returned the heirloom and discovered a new ancient shrine.
