The Victor's Cup is the main reward for winning the tournament. While this item can be sold, it can also be used as a decoration in Geralt's bedroom later in the game.

During the first game, Hamal ogn Dangbahil will propose a wager with you. If you happen to defeat him in Gwent, he'll reward you with the Blave Steel Sword.
Winning the tournament also rewards you with 1000 Crowns, making this a good source of money if you manage to win.

The Gwent Quest: Never Fear, Skellige’s Here! is the pre requisite quest that must be completed in order to unlock this quest. In this quest, you'll need to collect 19 cards by defeating 19 Gwent players. This will strengthen and complete your starting Skellige deck which will be used in the tournament.

| Gwent Quest: To Everything - Turn, Turn, Tournament! Objectives | |
|---|---|
| 1 | Head to the Pheasantry Inn |
| 2 | Defeat Hamal ogn Dangbahil |
| 3 | Defeat Ambassador von Hinn |
| 4 | Beat up the Dwarves |
| 5 | Defeat Count Monnier |
| 6 | Defeat Yaki Rafiberg |
Head to the Pheasantry Inn to officialy start the tournament. To get there quickly, you can use the Gran'place fast travel signpost.

Hamal ogn Dangbahil plays the Scoia'tael deck (monsters). His deck contains a lot of summoning cards, resulting in multiple cards being drawn with a strength rating of 4-6.
To defeat Hamal, we recommned bringing the special card Biting Frost, since most of his cards are melee types. Alternatively, you can also use Scorch to get rid of the summoned cards all at once. Take note that most of his cards are rated 4-6, so be careful to not match or surpass this number to use scorch effectively.

Your next opponent is Ambassador von Hinn, who uses the Nilfgaard deck. His deck contains a lot of high strength spies, giving him a lot of additional cards from his deck. Additionally, his deck contains reviving cards which allows him to play a card from his discard pile.
To defeat the ambassador, we recommend bringing a lot of Decoy cards to neutralize his tactic of overwhelming you with sheer card number. The cards Skellige Storm in combination with the leader card King Bran will also be effective to use against him as the ambassador uses a lot of ranged and ballista cards.

After defeating the ambassador, a group of dwarves who are opposed to the idea of a new deck faction shows up. They will eventually turn aggressive, resulting in a brawl. Defeat the three of them to proceed with the tournament.

The third oppponent is Count Monnier, who also uses the Skellige deck. His deck is similar to the Skellige deck that you have, making this a tricky duel.
To defat Count Monnier, we recommend bringing the cards Skellige Storm and the leader card King Bran. It is with a high chance that you'll both use the Light Longship card, and you'll be able to neutralize this with Skellige Storm. Although this will weaken your offense as well, the King Bran card will mitigate this, giving you an advantage.

Your final opponent is Yaki Rafiberg, who uses the Scoia'tael deck (monsters). His deck comprises of summoning and strengthening cards, such as the Commander's Horn card.
Since he uses summoning cards and strengthening cards, his cards will all have high strength ratings with the same exact amount of strength. Using Scorch and Clan Dimun Pirate Card will easily remove this advantage from him, so try and play these cards when fighting him.

To fully utilize the Skellige deck, it is highly recommended to do everything to win the first round and go on to lose the second. During the third round, the Skellige deck's ability kicks in, allowing you to draw 2 random cards from your discard pile.
If your opponent gives up early in the first round, don't be hesitant to end it on the 2nd round if you're able to. If you lose the 2nd round, you'll still have the Skellige deck's ability in the third round.
You won't be able to save in between playing Hamal ogn Dangbahil and Ambassador von Hinn. If you lose to the ambassador (2nd game), you'll have to re-do the card game with Hamal ogn Dangbahil again.
However, the last two Gwent games will have a checkpoint before the actual duel, so you'll have the liberty to try them again and again.
If you just want to complete the quest, the quest can be completed even if you lose in the first round. You won't win the tournament and it's prizes, but the quest will still be marked as complete.
