The best Skellige deck makes use of its ability by exhausting your opponent's cards. Read on to see which cards are the best to include in your deck and how to play them!
List of Contents

While winning the first round is not a requirement, it is highly recommended. Winning the first round gives you the option to push for the win in the second round, or wait for the third round to activate the Skellige deck's ability.

Skellige deck's ability revives two random cards from your discard pile. Since this ability excludes hero cards, it is best to use them in the first round. However, you can make an exception to the rule for Cerys since this card is extremely strong.

The Skellige deck relies heavily on Tight Bonds to boost its power. Due to this, you should aim to get cards with same names to reach the deck's max potential. The exception to this rule are the Shield Maidens since Cerys can summon them.
In addition, it is best to shuffle duplicate cards that have the summoning ability. These cards include Light Longship (innate summoning ability) and Shield Maidens (only if Cerys is in your hands).

If you draw berserker cards, try your best to pair them with either Ermion or Mardroemes. Berserker cards transform to a more powerful card with additional effects if you are able to pair them with either of the two.

The Skellige deck does not contain spy cards, meaning that you can only play additional cards by using Birna Bran or the deck's ability. If you draw Birna Bran and Decoy cards, you can use both in the third round to further revive more cards in your discard pile.

The King Bran leader card reduces the effects of weather cards into half. Combine this with the Skellige Storm card to gain an advantage against opponents who use a lot of ranged and ballista cards.
