If you freed the tree spirit during The Whispering Hillock secondary quest, you will come to a point during the secondary quest Return to Crookback Bog, where you have to pick a doll to help get rid of the curse on Anna.

Which Doll to Pick?
Doll With the Violet Hollyhock Bloom
The only correct choice is picking the doll with the hollyhock bloom, this will at least remove the curse on Anna and then get to say her goodbyes to both her husband and daughter before she dies. However, when you go to Crow's Perch for your reward, the baron has already hanged himself from the loss.
Any Other Doll Will Set Anna on Fire
If you picked any of the other dolls, Anna will remain a hag then burst into flames right in front of the Baron and their daughter. Tamara will get angry at you for killing her mother. This will also still lead into the Baron hanging himself at Crow's Perch.
