Follow the riverbed and find help. Follow the path where the riverbed leads. |

Kill the wolves. Kill the 3 wolves that show up. |

Follow and protect Gretka from the wolves. Follow Gretka, then kill the next pack of 6 wolves. |

 Follow Gretka. Follow Gretka again. Ciri will then inspect a body. Make sure to check the chest, leg, and belly so Ciri can identify the correct oil that needs to be used. Afterward, choose the yellow dialogue option to conclude the sequence. |

If you did not inspect all of the 3 body parts required, Ciri will wrongly presume the monster to be a Fiend. She will craft a different oil, and will decide to search for Mistletoe instead of Wolfsbane. Having Ciri brew the correct oil is highly recommended to make the fight against the King of Wolves easier, as it will increase your attack damage.
Continue following Gretka while gathering the necessary ingredients along the way. You will eventually need to defeat another pack of five wolves. Once all ingredients are collected, Ciri will automatically make the oil. Afterward, follow Gretka into the cave.
Kill the Werewolf
After the cutscene, you'll be thrust into a fight against the King of Wolves, which is actually a werewolf.
Ciri's dodge is much faster than Geralt's. Use your high mobility to your advantage by constantly dodging away and waiting for an opening, then dash back in to attack.
