Hunting a Witch Walkthrough
Find the Witch on Your Own or Ask the Residents
Head to Midcopse, which is located south of Blackbough. When you get to Midcopse you will need to find out where the witch's home is.
There are 3 possible ways of doing this: Ask the old man, ask the peasant woman's husband, or eavesdrop on some gossip. It doesn't have any impact whatever you choose.
Alternatively you can go straight to the witch's hut. You can find it to the northeast of Midcopse by following the directions in the next set of objectives.

| 1 |  Ask the Old Man Speak with the old man near the western entrance of the village. |
| 2 |  Ask the Peasant Woman's Husband Talk to the sweeping peasant woman in front of a house to the east. She will direct you to her husband who stays near the back of the house. You can make the peasant man tell you what he knows either by using Delusion or bribing him. ・Bribe 50 Crowns - Gives 5 XP ・Use Delusion Level 2 - Gives 40 XP |
| 3 |  Eavesdrop on Some Gossip Outside the westernmost house are two women talking. Stand a few distance away from them to listen in. If you spoke with the old man first, you can still listen in their gossip. |

| 1 | Find the Pond by the Village Head to the pond north of the village. |
| 2 |  Find the Lone Boulder Continue moving forward until you reach the lone boulder near the pond. |
| 3 |  Find the Abandoned Cart Turn to the right and keep straight to find the abandoned cart. You will encounter 5 Nekkers. Nekkers are fast and come in groups. Use light attacks as heavy attacks are too slow. Aard helps to knock down multiple nekkers as they attack together. A Northern Wind Bomb will also help by slowing them down. |

Talk to the Witch in Her Hut Enter the hut, however you'll find it empty. |

 Search the Hut Using Your Witcher Senses Use your Witcher Senses to search for clues on where the witch went. Examine the skull on top of a shelf in the bedroom to continue the story. |

Enter the Portal in the Witch's Hut Walk through the portal. |

Find the Witch Follow the path and go up the stairs. |
