Hunting a Witch Main Objectives

Objectives
1 Head to Midcopse. It is south of Blackbough.
2 When you get there you will need to find out where her home is. There are 3 possible ways of doing this: Ask the old man, ask the peasant woman's husband, or eavesdrop on some gossip.
Alternatively you can go straight to the witch's hut. You can find it to the northeast of Midcope. You can find the directions in find the pond objectives.

3.A Near the western entrance, there is an old man sitting. Talk to him.
4.A Find the pond.

Ask the Peasant Woman's Husband

3.B A woman peasant that lives in the northern, leftmost house will talk about the witch. Talk to the peasant.
4.B She will direct you to her husband who stays outside near the back. Talk to him.
5.B You can either pay him 50 crowns (giving you 5 exp) or use Axii if you have delusion level 2 (it will give you 40 exp).
6.B Find the pond.

2.C Outside the westernmost house are two women talking. Stand some distance away from them and use your Witcher Sense to listen in.

7 Head to the pond north of the village.
8 Get to the lone boulder north of the pond.
9 Find the abandoned cart to the east. You will encounter 5 Nekkers. Follow the road east to get to the witch's hut.

Note: You can skip straight to the witch's hut.
10 Enter the hut and head to the western part of the hut. Use your Witcher Sense and examine the skull on the southside wall.
11 Walk through the portal. Follow the path and go up the stairs.

Hunting a Witch Tips and Strategies

Fighting Nekkers

Nekker
Nekkers are fast and come in groups. Use light attacks as heavy attacks are too slow. Aard helps to knock down multiple nekkers as they attack together.

A Northern Wind Bomb will also help by slowing them down.
