Go to the Baron's Castle
Head towards Crow's Perch. Cross the bridge and enter the village. Depending on your choice regarding the baron's men in The Nilfgaardian Connection, your situation will differ.
If you avoided fighting with the bandits by telling them that you are a witcher or by buying them drinks you can go through the peaceful path. If you fought and killed the bandits, you can only do the forceful path.

Once you reach the castle town, continue going forward towards the gate. After speaking to the guards, follow the sergeant.

 When you get past the village, upon reaching the first gate, you will be attacked by two of the baron's men. Defeat them. Enemies with shields are difficult to hit. Use Axii to stun them giving you a chance to get hits in. Alternatively if you counter their attack it will also give you an opening to attack. |
| 2 | Afterward, go up the road to the gate to watch a scene. The guards will not let you in. |

 Search the village to find another way ito the castle. Return to the village and speak with the old man sitting alone to learn about an alternative entrance. Paying him 12 crowns will mark it on the map; however, you can still find it without paying him. |

Explore the area where the boy's body was found. Head outside the fortress past the bridge, then follow the road to the northwest side of the fortress. |

 Find the cave that leads under Crow''s Perch. A shrine on the side of the road near the moat will mark where the cave is. |

Dive underwater to enter the cave. Dive underwater to get into the cave. |

 Explore the cave and find a way into the castle. Once in the cave, follow the path. You will encounter a Water Hag. Kill it. The cave is dark, so using the Cat Potion for night vision will be a huge help. The cave has a few chests hidden inside, use your Witcher Senses to make it easier to find them. |

 Climb up through the old well to enter the castle. Continue following the path until you reach a ladder. Climb it to get to the baron. |
