Veela is a speedy debuffer who can weaken the ATK of her enemies by more than 100%, blunting their attacks and preventing them from wiping out her team in just one or two turns. Her high base SPD and ability to decrease the SPD of her opponents almost ensures that she can inflict that debuff as soon as possible.

To deal with her, your team will need a debuff cleanser and an attacker that is speed-tuned in a way so that your attacker gets cleansed just after Veela uses her ATK debuff (if you can't just outright outspeed her).

• Powerful debuffer who can decrease the ATK of her enemies by 100% and decrease their Speed by 15% (stackable up to 4 times). • High base SPD allows her to apply these debuffs ahead of any enemy without SPD runes of their own. • Last passive skill cleanses all buffs from her if her HP goes below 40%.	• Can still be outpaced by enemies with high-level SPD runes • ATK debuffs can be removed by debuff cleansers. • Relatively fragile and still vulnerable to movement-hindering debuffs (could be taken out in one turn before her self-cleanse has a chance to start).

Veela's first passive, "Stories from the Rain," raises her ACC and Debuff ACC by up to 40%, increasing her chances to inflict her ATK and SPD buffs. Unfortunately, it cannot be dispelled. Meanwhile, "Just the Two of Us"

To get rid of Veela's ATK debuffs, you'll need debuff cleansers. If you don't think you can outspeed an enemy Veela, then Priscilla or Merlyn or any other debuff cleanser you have should be speed-tuned in a way that they move just after she does, and just before your main attacker makes their move.

This way, they'll be able to cleanse the ATK debuff and your attacker can damage the enemy team like normal.

Lunalynn

Primavera

Though Veela has her own debuff self-cleanse, Silencing or inflicting Faint on her with Lunalynn or Primavera or similar witches can buy you time. If you immediately follow the Faint with an attack strong enough to take out Veela in one or two turns, then you won't have to worry about that self-cleanse ability.

Cordie

Cordie is not only one of the best attackers in the game, but one of the fastest ones too. Pump her with SPD and PM. DEF Break runes and she could take out Veela within the first turn in PvP.

Cordie and Fia are the main attackers, with Nina providing buff dispel support while Merlyn keeps your main attacker cleansed of debuffs. Dian buffs your main attacker's EVD and also dispels enemy buffs too.

Witches Not To Use Against Veela

Lea

Lea is dependent on doing single but hard-hitting attacks which would instantly be blunted if Veela manages to move before she does. She needs to be speed-tuned properly so that after Veela moves, a debuff cleanser will remove the ATK debuff, and only then can Lea attack afterward.

Tips for Beating Veela

Use Debuff Dispellers

Veela's is one of the fastest units in the game, so unless you think you can outspeed her with your own units, then make sure to have someone who can dispel debuffs from your main attacker.

Try To Outspeed Veela

If you do have a witch that can outspeed her, then put them in your team and either inflict Faint on her, Silence her, or outright defeat her.
