Ophelia is an attrition unit that relies on taunting her foes and getting them to waste their attacks on her rather than her allies. While they keep attacking her, Ophelia decreases their ATK and lowers the damage she takes as well, before retaliating with her boosted Counter stat and wiping them out.

Her weakness is that her [Taunt] buff can be stolen or dispelled. Also, if her remaining HP is just the right amount by turn two of the battle, she can be defeated by Cerberus' second skill.

Ophelia's two active skills and her first passive work together to make her a defensive wall of a unit that soaks up damage, heals herself, and retaliates with her Counter stat while her enemies wear themselves away against her.

While her Taunt buff is in effect, players are doomed to waste their attacks on her. But once this Taunt buff is stolen (by Nina) or dispelled by other witches with the ability to do that, it all falls apart and Ophelia becomes fair game.

Royal Guard’s Honor

Ophelia's Royal Guard's Honor passive ensures that she survives fatal hits with 1 HP remaining while raising her and all her allies' P. DEF. She also gets a buff to her CRIT RES and max HP. Overall, this shouldn't become a problem for any team that can defeat her quickly after she revives.

【The Witch of Fallen Crystals】Ophelia Hard Counters

Nina

Nina is one of the most effective counters versus Ophelia because she can steal Ophelia's Taunt, which gets rid of her damage cut and makes her vulnerable to damage from your team again.

Merlyn

If you can't steal Ophelia's buff, dispel it instead with Merlyn or similar witches. It should have the same effect as with using Nina.

Cordie

Cerberus

In the absence of any dispellers (or to complement them), you can field Cordie or any other attacker that lays down focused nukes and Cerberus.

The way this combo works is that the Attacker whittles down Ophelia's HP to a point where Cerberus can use her second Active Skill, Storm of Tartarus, which instantly defeats an enemy if their HP is 15% or below and is lower than 1500% of her ATK stat. If successful, Cerberus instantly defeats Ophelia.

Cordie and Cerberus are the centerpieces of this team, with Primavera and Nina being the backups. Nina steals Ophelia's buff, and Cordie plus Cerberus decreases her DEF and attack. If Ophelia is nuked within the first turn but still has the right amount of HP, Cerberus' second active skill kicks in and defeats her.

It could also be a bit more drawn out but Ophelia wouldn't last too long. Pump Primavera full of SPD runes (unless you already gave them to Cordie) and position her in front of wherever Ophelia is so Primavera can inflict Faint on her or at least lower her HP. Just be wary that Ophelia could have high Debuff RES, so the faints may not stick.

Just by themselves, attackers like Florence, Luke, Rean, and other witches that deal attacks to a random number of enemies will see their damage waste away as Ophelia tanks hit after hit, before killing themselves due to her Counter stat.

They are exactly the kind of witches that Ophelia is designed to beat, so avoid fielding them unless you can pair them with other witches that can beat Ophelia (like Cerberus).

Tips for Beating 【The Witch of Fallen Crystals】Ophelia

Get a Witch That Can Dispel or Steal Ophelia’s Taunt

The easiest way to beat Ophelia is to take away her Taunt buff as early as possible, so get a witch that can either steal her buff or dispel it outright. This removes the damage cut, making her take more damage from your heavy hitters.

Undermine Her DEF

It's possible that Ophelia still has the P. DEF buff from her second active skill and may still take less damage than she should, so you could put Mimi in your party just for her Resonance skill and deal with Ophelia that way.

Resonance makes the witch with the highest DEF take half of the damage dealt to the witch with the lowest DEF, so unless the enemy party has another much tankier unit than Ophelia, then you could use Mimi against her.

Nullify Ophelia’s Healing or Inflict Faint on Her

Another potential way of dealing with Ophelia is debuffing her with Blight (nullifies healing) and/or Faint (stuns her). However, note that Ophelia could have higher Debuff RES, so debuffs there are chances she could resist debuffs altogether. Reserve using debuffs as a backup option instead.
