Fortina is a healer and defender who grants her allies shields and heals their HP, though healing isn't really as strong as it should be in MementoMori. To defeat her, you'll need witches that can nullify her healing, then other witches that can overwhelm her shields.

Prayer of the Saint

Haven of Divine Swords

Fortina's main ability is to heal her allies and grant them shields with her first active skill, then attack the enemy with her second skill and use a chunk of that damage to heal her ally with the lowest remaining HP.

To counteract this, you'll need witches that can nullify her healing ability (Moddey, Amour), then other witches who can break those shields (Luke) or overwhelm them with damage (Cordie, Florence, etc.).

Veil of Sacred Swords

Fortina's second function is to protect the main attacker of the team she's in from any mobility-hindering debuffs like Faint or Sleep. Since this cannot be dispelled, it means you'll have to generally avoid using debuffers in battle and opt for teams that emphasize damage output.

However, debuffs that do not impede movement (like the aforementioned Blight debuff and others) could still have a place in your team. Fortina does not have Debuff Immunity like Cordie, after all.

【The Witch of Sacred Swords】Fortina Hard Counters

Moddey

Amour

Though they are counters to healers in general, Moddey and Amour both can cast the Blight debuff on their enemies, which makes them unable to receive healing from allies. This would nullify Fortina's healing abilities since most of her teammates wouldn't be healed by her skills.

Florence

Florence (or perhaps Cordie) and other damage dealers with either increased ATK or PM DEF Break could also be useful in fighting Fortina, since their damage could be more than enough to overwhelm the shields she gives to her allies.

Luke

To deal with Fortina's shields, Luke can be used to dispel them (though only for one enemy). This can still be useful if all you want to do is break the shield in place for the team's main attacker and not Fortina herself (who can be taken out afterward in short order).

Heal Disable Team

Position Luke wherever the main attacker of the enemy team is and adjust positions accordingly. Moddey will inflict Blight while Mimi undermines the enemy's defenses. Cordie meanwhile will be the main damage dealer and pick off enemies once their shields have been dealt with (or not).

Witches Not To Use Against 【The Witch of Sacred Swords】Fortina

Primavera

Primavera can inflict the "Faint" debuff on her enemies, but this could be blocked by Fortina's Unhindered buff. She could possibly still overwhelm Fortina's shield for her allies, however.

Ivy

Ivy is another character that can also inflict Faint on enemies, which would become useless when faced with Fortina. However, her own damage output could still overwhelm Fortina's shields if used properly.

Tips for Beating 【The Witch of Sacred Swords】Fortina

Bring Along Witches Capable of Blight

To nullify Fortina's healing abilities, bring along witches that can nullify these abilities like Amour and Moddey. This is only applicable in PvE, however. In PvP, you are better off bringing a witch that can boost your main attacker's damage output instead.

Use Witches That Can Inflict Multiple Hits

Speaking of main attackers, you'll want to bring along witches that can attack multiple times to break shields (or, in Luke's case, outright dispel them). This is so that despite Fortina's defensive capabilities, your team can still at least defeat the witches you need to defeat (the main attacker, and other debuffers) before taking down Fortina herself.

Bring Your Own Fortina

If you can, you might want to consider bringing your own Fortina so that your team can benefit from the defensive advantages she brings. This also evens out the playing field between your teams as the enemy team will also have to break through your own Fortina's shields and dispel her healing as well.
