One of the strongest retaliators in the game, Amleth is a witch who will take damage and pay it back to enemies with interest. This makes her a good damage dealer in PvE and a reliable unit in PvP as long as she is not facing anyone who can take away her Immortality buff.

Amleth Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths Weaknesses
• The lower her HP, the higher the ATK buff she gets.
• Can survive fatal hits with just 1 HP, and then survive for longer with her Immortality buff.
• These two skills come together and turn her into a heavy-hitting attacker who's invulnerable for three turns, which could be enough time for her to take out the entire enemy team. 		• Her Immortality buff can be dispelled or stolen, which makes her weak against witches like Nina or Merlyn. Once that buff is gone, she can be taken out with impunity.
• Her lack of CRIT-related buffs makes her damage potential lower than those of other attackers like Cordie, Florence, and others.

At the start of each turn or when Amleth is attacked, the lower her remaining HP percentage is decreased, the higher her ATK is increased (30% max) (cannot be dispelled).
Level 2 (Unlocks by level 121)
The max amount her ATK can increase by becomes 50%.
Level 3 (Unlocks by level 201)
The max amount her ATK can increase by becomes 80%.

When Amleth takes damage that would reduce her HP to 0, she survives with 1 HP. This skill activates only 1 time per battle.
Level 2 (Unlocks by level 141)
Additionally grants［Immortality］to her for 2 turns.
Level 3 (Unlocks by level 221)
The number of turns of［Immortality］becomes 3.

Ray of Light and Fulfiller of Oaths are the bread and butter of Amleth's skillset, as the former gives her an Attack buff the lower her HP is, and the latter allows her to survive fatal hits with 1 HP while giving her an Immortality buff.

Level 3 (Unlocks by level 161)
The targets of this skill become 4 random enemies.

Deals 4 physical attacks equal to 310% of her ATK to enemies at random. Amleth never misses an opening, and each time she attacks, she has a 70% chance to deal 1 additional physical attack equal to 360% of her ATK (4 additional attacks max).
Level 2 (Unlocks by level 21)
The additional attack’s damage becomes equal to 380% of her ATK.
Level 3 (Unlocks by level 101)
Additionally, if a target is defeated by this skill, restores HP equal to 10% of Amleth’s max HP to her. Each time a target is defeated by this skill, the amount Amleth’s HP is restored by increases by 10% of her max HP.
Level 4 (Unlocks by level 181)
The initial physical attacks’ damage becomes equal to 330% of her ATK.

Both of Amleth's Active Skills are attacks that can hit multiple enemies at once, making her a very deadly group killer if the enemy fails to dispel her Immortality buff in time.

Nina's first skill gives her an up to 80% chance to steal Amleth's Immortality buff, which would leave her defenseless and easy to take down afterward.

Illya's first skill is also capable of dispelling Amleth's Immortality buff, as long as Amleth herself doesn't have any other buffs that would end up getting dispelled instead.

MementoMori - Merlyn IconMerlyn

Merlyn's second skill dispels 1 buff from 2 enemies with the highest remaining HP. Typically when facing off against Amleth, she's the last one standing in the enemy team, making her the perfect target for Merlyn's dispel.

Witches Not To Use Against Amleth

Don't just throw heavy-hitting witches like Florence, Cordie, and other main attackers at Amleth because no matter how much damage they deal to her, it will mean nothing if Amleth is still standing because of her Immortality buff. Make sure to always have a witch capable of dispelling enemy buffs handy to deal with Amleth.

Tips for Beating Amleth

Bring a Witch That Dispels or Steals Enemy Buffs

The best way to deal with Amleth quickly is to have her Immortality debuff dispelled once she hits 1 HP to limit the potential damage she can cause. Once her buff is gone, she can be taken down in one hit.

Or Bring a Witch That Has Shields or Multi-Barriers

If you don't have a witch that's capable of dispelling enemy buffs, then bring along a witch that can use shields or multi-barriers instead like Soltina, so that your party can withstand Amleth's attacks until her buff ends in 2 or 3 turns. Once her buff expires, you can take her down with impunity.
