Rucco Maag Shrine Walkthrough: Location and Puzzle Solution

This is a walkthrough for Rucco Maag Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (BotW). The location of this shrine and puzzle solution, as well as how to get the hidden treasure chest can all be found here.

Rucco Maag Shrine Location

This shrine is located at Samasa Plain whichi is just south of Ruto Mountain.

	Shrine Solution
1	The goal in this shrine is to light up all five torches at the center of the room.
2	Enlarge This would be much easier if you have at least 3 fire arrows. Just shoot the top switch with a regular arrow so that the water spout is submerged then start shooting the 3 unlit torches with fire arrows.
3	Enlarge In case you do not have any fire arrows, stand in front of the controller so that you are also facing the large cube with the torches. Solution: Shoot the switches in this order: ・Right ・Top ・Front (the side facing the torches) ・Left ・Back (the side facing you) ・Right ・Top ・Back
4	The altar room will be unlocked after all five torches are lit. Treasures: Go to the other side of the room and shoot the wooden platforms with the chests using fire arrows. Alternatively, you can also use Magnesis through the cracks of the platform to grab the chests. The left chest contains an Opal while the one on the right contains a Silver Bow.
5	Examine the altar to receive a Spirit Orb.

1	Enlarge Burn the wooden platforms with fire arrows so they drop the chests below. Alternatively, you can also use Magnesis through the cracks of the platform to grab the chest. The chest on the left contains an Opal.
