First Phase: Destroy the Black BlobsFirst Phase: Destroy the Black Blobs
To remove the Dark Heart’s immunity, locate the Black Blobs in three areas of the map: Trinity Ave., Yellow House Backyard, and Green House Backyard. For the first phase, destroy each one by filling the connected Soulbox Cyst with souls by killing zombies near it.

Protect the Concentration Fields

After destroying all three Blobs, a blue-white orb will appear and travel to the first Concentration Field you must protect. It lands on one of the blob spots you cleared.
Prevent zombies from destroying the field for 30 seconds. The Dark Heart's projectile attacks do not damage the field. LT53 Kazimirs, Cymbal Monkeys, and Decoys are excellent here to control the zombie hordes.
Should the field get destroyed, it will respawn quickly. You can then attempt to charge it again while protecting it. After protecting all three fields, the Dark Heart will lose its invulnerability for the first time.
Shoot The Dark Heart's Glowing Parts
The Dark Heart’s only weak points are the glowing yellow parts on the top and bottom of its body. These are the only areas where it can take damage. A Pack-a-Punch Level 3 Sundergat on-beat charge attack can deal over 40,000 damage if all shells connect.
Deadshot Daiquiri is highly beneficial here to deal more damage to the boss's critical hit zones.
Avoid the Meteor Attacks and Fire Tornadoes
The boss’s most dangerous attacks are the meteors it launches, which show their landing spots with a circular warning zone on the ground. The fire tornadoes that constantly move around the map also deal heavy damage, so always keep track of where you will move to avoid them.
Second Phase: Kill Zombies Tethered to the Yellow Orbs
At around 2/3 HP, the boss will enter another immune phase. Destroy the three blobs in the same locations previously. This time, shoot the yellow orb above the blob, then kill the tethered zombies as they spawn to break it. The blobs will appear in the exact same spots as before.
Protect the Concentration Fields Again
Just like before, follow the soul orb to the Concentration Fields and protect them. There will be even more Zombies and Rad-Dogs, so prepare your Kazimirs and Decoys for this part.
Once all three Concentration Fields are completed, the boss becomes vulnerable again. However, it will spin faster and have fewer weak points, making it harder to hit. There will also be a lot more fire tornadoes during the second phase.
Thin Out the Hordes Before Focusing on the Boss
Especially during the later phases, an even larger number of zombies and dogs will spawn. Make sure not to let them build up too much, or you will struggle to focus on the fast-spinning boss while the mobs overwhelm you.
Third Phase: Lure the Tortured Zombie to the Black Blobs
For the third and final phase, a Tortured Zombie inside a fiery tornado will spawn in the center of the map. Lure it toward the Black Blobs and kill it nearby. Clear a path for it, as it will disappear if it absorbs too many zombies, just like during the Sundergat upgrade step in the Easter Egg. When killed, the Tortured Zombie respawns after 15-20 seconds.
Once all the blobs are destroyed, protect the Concentration Fields one last time to make the boss vulnerable. In the final phase, the boss will spin the fastest and the horde will be the largest, so thin them out and keep your tacticals and armor plates ready. Defeating the Dark Heart here completes Paradox Junction.
