This XR-3 Ion build improves upon the weapon's ADS speed and aiming sway, with added recoil control, movement speed, and a Suppressor for its Gunfighter build. The gun itself certainly packs a punch due to its 3-round burst, but has to be modified to be friendlier since it has a low starting handling stat and has a pre-fire delay.

You can opt for the Gunfighter Wildcard to use up to 8 attachments.
The XR-3 Ion works in a Scout Hybrid Specialty setup, but you can opt for other perks such as Strategist if you're going for more support or Enforcer for more aggression. Using a sniper rifle, we encourage the use of perks that can improve your overall situational awareness, such as Vigilance and Tracker.
