Unlocks Immediately | Bullets deal Electric damage. Each bullet has a chance to stun a Normal or Special Enemy, causing them to generate an electric damage field. |
 Cryo Freeze |
12 | Bullets deal Frost damage. Each bullet has a chance to slow a Normal or Special Enemy and increase the damage they receive. |
| Fire Works | 18 | Each bullet that hits a Normal or Special Enemy has a chance to launch fireworks that target enemies. |
 Napalm Burst |
35 | Bullets deal Fire damage. Each bullet has a chance to apply a burn effect on Normal and Special Enemies, dealing damage over time. |
 Shadow Rift |
44 | Bullets deal Shadow damage. Each bullet has a chance to spawn a black hole on a Normal or Special Enemy, warping away those nearby and dropping some from the air at lethal speed. |
 Brain Rot |
51 | Bullets deal Toxic damage. Each bullet has a chance to temporarily turn a Normal or Special Enemy into an ally. |
How to Get Ammo Mods in Zombies
Buy from Arsenal Machines
Ammo Mods are bought from Arsenal Machines found across the map for 500 Salvage. Salvage is a currency occasionally dropped by enemies you kill. Ammo Mods imbude bullets with a chance to apply special effects, and could give you a tactical edge during combat. However, you cannot equip all Ammo Mods at the same time, you must find an Arsenal Machince whenever you want to switch out the equipped mod. Ammo Mods can be unlocked by levelling up, but the Dead Wire mod is available immediately.
What are Ammo Mods?
Gives Bonus Effects to Bullets
Ammo Mods grant your bullets a chance to activate a bonus effect, such as elemental damage or status effects. Ammo Mods can help you eliminate enemies faster and efficiently, helping you surive longer or finish a mission quickly.
Can be Upgraded with Augments
Ammo Mods can be upgraded further by researching Augments in the Research menu. Augments for Ammo Mods ranges from increasing elemental effectiveness, prolonging effect durations, and granting special bonuses. To unlock Augments for Ammo Mods, go to the Augments Research menu in the Weapon tab then select the Ammo Mod you want to research. To progress the research bar, earn XP during missions. Augments you unlocked can be equipped in the Equip Augments menu.
