| Unlock and Level | Explanation |
|---|---|
Specialist Wildcard Level 53 |
Specialist replaces called-in Scorestreaks with three additional perks earned at 200, 400, and 600 score. It is a great permanent unlock choice for a super soldier-like build, especially since it appears late at Level 53. |
MPC-25 SMG Level 55 |
The MPC-25 is one of the best SMGs in the game, but it only unlocks at max rank. If you mainly use SMGs, this is a clear choice to unlock permanently. |
Perk Greed Wildcard Level 33 |
Perk Greed is another powerful Perk to have after Specialist if you want an extra perk to take advantage of in Multiplayer and still use Scorestreaks. |
Lightweight Perk Level 45 |
For Offensive perks, Lightweight is one of the more powerful choices for its great boost in movement speed and mobility. It also unlocks fairly late at Level 45. |
Ninja Perk Level 53 |
If you like to play Search and Destroy, Ninja is a must-have to mask footstep audio since sound info often decides rounds. Because it unlocks late at Level 53, it is a top priority for SnD players. |
Guardian Perk Level 50 |
Guardian is the best support perk in Multiplayer and also unlocks late at Level 50. This is a perfect unlock for support or objective-focused players because it provides faster objective captures and healing. |
Gunfighter Wildcard Level 29 |
Gunfighter is essential for weapon builds that rely on being fully decked out with attachments. If you mainly use these classes, such as our Quickscope Build, Gunfighter is a must-have. |
Harp Scorestreak Level 47 |
Harp is one of the best Scorestreaks, unlocking later at Level 47. It provides the best map awareness by showing enemy positions in real-time, giving you a huge information advantage. |
| Unlock and Level | Explanation |
|---|---|
Aether Shroud Field Upgrade Level 48 |
Aether Shroud is excellent in Zombies, letting you instantly lose enemy aggro by turning invisible. It helps with survivability and is useful during boss fights and potential Easter Egg steps. |
Decoy Tactical Level 50 |
Decoys are excellent for Zombies mode for all sorts of situations, such as when you need to complete an objective without getting mobbed by the horde. You can also use it in emergencies to revive downed teammates. |

You can get Permanent Unlock Tokens once you enter Prestige mode in Black Ops 7. This requires reaching Level 55 and choosing to reset your unlocks, although your weapon progression and Operator unlocks are retained.
Each Prestige level awards 1 token that you can use to permanently unlock any single item in the Progression tree, whether it is a weapon, perk, or wildcard. That item then becomes usable at any level and in your next Prestiges.
You can permanently unlock up to 10 items by Prestige 10. Upon reaching Prestige Master, every item in the Progression tree becomes permanently unlocked with no additional tokens required.
With a Permanent Unlock Token, select any item in the Loadout menu and press the Permanent Unlock button. After confirming, the item will then remain unlocked even after Prestige resets.
Permanent unlocks cannot be refunded or reassigned, so plan carefully before choosing which items you want early access to! You'd ideally want to unlock items that are far into the level progression, such as those Levels 35+.
Players who purchase the Vault Edition of Black Ops 7 get a free Permanent Unlock Token that can be used even before hitting Prestige 1.
