Endgame Final Boss Guide: How to Beat Dr. Faulkner
Dr. Faulkner is the final boss of Endgame mode in Call of Duty Black Ops 7 (BO7). Read on to learn how to beat Dr. Faulkner and complete the Toxin Source POI in Endgame mode.

Destroy the Red Flower Growths to Clear the Corruption
Dr. Faulkner and the zombie horde he spawns in will keep spawning unless you clear out the corruption of the island. Your squad's priority upon reaching the Toxin Source is to destroy the Red Flower Growths scattered around the island and inside its buildings.
You can thin out the hordes of zombies, but it'll be easier to kite them and instead run around the island destroying growths as you go. For this reason, Agile Handling is probably one of the best skils you can max out to make the final boss sequence easy.
Kill Dr. Faulkner at the Helipad
Once you reach a corruption clearance rate of 100%, a true Dr. Faulkner will spawn on the islands Helipad. Head over there and pump him full of lead to kill the final boss.
Unlike Faulkners other copies, this one takes increased damage, allowing you to melt him if more than 4 players are shooting him. Focus him down to quickly make mincemeat of this "final boss".
Confirm the Kill to Exfil and Get the True Ending
On defeat, Dr. Faulkner will drop an Exotic Weapon Case which you can loot to get a guaranteed (but random) exotic weapon. Once you've taken your loot, examine Faulkner's corpse to trigger the final true ending cutscene.
Note: By examining the body, you'll also be safely extracted out of Avalon.
Dr. Faulkner Boss Fight Rewards
No Fear Operator Skins
All BO7 base game operators will have an unlockable skin called No Fear. Defeating the final boss and extracting while using any one of these operators will unlock their corresponding No Fear skin.
There are 12 No Fear operator skins that can be unlocked which means if you want them all, you'll have to level up all 12 operators in Endgame, beat the final boss while using them, then successfully extract with them.

True Ending of the Co-Op Campaign
The "true" final cutscene of the co-op campaign can only be viewed if you managed to beat Dr. Faulkner and extract from the zone after examining his body. During this cutscene, you're introduced to a mystery antagonist named Dorne.
Guaranteed Exotic Weapon
Killing Dr. Faulkner at the Toxin Source will also have him drop an Exotic Weapon Case. When opened, it guarantees a random Exotic weapon for your operator. However, do note that you can only carry one Exotic at a time and the exotics dropped by Dr. Faulkner are no different from the exotics you can farm in Zone IV.
1200 Combat Rating
If you still aren't CR 60, then you'll also receive +1200 Combat Rating as soon as Dr. Faulkner goes down. Given how easy this encounter is, you can potentially bring along non CR 45 buddies for a free 1200 CR bump and their very first Exotic.
Toxin Source and Dr. Faulkner Tips
Reach Combat Rating 50+ and Bring Exotics
Before you tackle the Toxin Source and Dr. Faulkner, you'll first need to prepare yourself and your squad. Aside from hitting CR 50+ and bringing Exotics, here are a few things you can do to make your Toxin Source run easier:
- Run with a high combat rating 4-stack.
- Max out the Surgeon or Tactician skill trees for survivability and damage, respectively.
- Make sure you have a good mobility minor ability like Grappling Hook and a good major ability like Crash Cart equipped.
Invite the Lobby to Help You Out
Fortunately for most players, this particular boss can be defeated with the power of friendship. Type in All Chat and invite the lobby to hit the Toxin Source together since it makes it easier to get rid of the corruption and split the aggro of the zombie mobs.
Also, if you haven't already noticed, you can revive other players even if they aren't in your squad. This makes this large-scale PvE event more co-op friendly, similar to 2023's MWZ mode.
Focus on Clearing the Corruption
The zombies and many Dr. Faulkners will keep spawning indefinitely making it a waste of time to keep killing them. Instead, focus on clearing the corruption.
Once the corruption clearance meter reaches 100%, a Dr. Faulkner boss will spawn on the helipad which takes a ton of damage compared to his normal forms. Kill this one to melt the boss HP bar and complete the encounter.
