Special enemies in the Call of Duty Black Ops 7 (BO7) campaign have increased HP and award more XP when defeated. Read on to learn what the campaign’s Special enemies are, where to find them in the endgame, and the rewards tied to eliminating them.
List of Contents

Special Enemies such as the G-R6, Raider, and Titan are stronger enemy units that require significantly more bullets to defeat. They also wear distinct camo, typically in darker shades of black rather than the white or gray used by standard enemies.
Defeating a Special Enemy will show a unique "Special Enemy Eliminated" text on the HUD. They can be found in the more challening parts of the campaign missions or in certain Endgame activities such as Command Centers.
Eliminating a Special enemy grants +50 XP, or +60 XP if it is a critical hit kill. In comparison, standard enemies award +20 XP, or +30 XP for a critical hit kill.

Unfortunately, as you reach higher level zones in Endgame, you'll start seeing more Elite enemies (marked by a triangle skull symbol). Elite variants of the enemies listed above are not considered special enemy kills.
This means, killing something like an Elite Titan will not get you a Special Enemy kill tally for any challenges you may be attempting.
Hostiles such as Deadeyes, Commandos, Guardians, and D.A.W.G. units are not classified as Special enemies. Although they are stronger than standard mobs like Enforcers and Sentinels, they still do not qualify as Special.
