The Jäger 45 pistol becomes one of the best weapons once it is upgraded with Pack-a-Punch, which converts its firing mode into a shotgun-like blast that can mow down hordes of zombies. It becomes even more powerful once you unlock the Dual Wield attachment by leveling the weapon.
Its only downside is that it is weak early in the game, so you will need to buy another weapon. Other than that, it is a strong weapon to invest in, and it is already unlocked by default.

The Shadow SK is the best sniper rifle choice against zombies because of its fast fire rate and high DPS. It becomes even more deadly with the Pack-a-Punch upgrade and the Double Tap perk, which boosts its fire rate enough to make it feel like a marksman rifle.
Its downside is its small magazine size, but its high fire rate and strong damage output make up for it. You can also wall buy this weapon at Exit 115.

The Dravec 45 is one of the best SMGs against zombies thanks to its great mobility and accuracy. With the Pack-a-Punch upgrade and the Double Tap perk, you can shred through zombies with ease, making it feel like a super fast LMG.
Its downside is its low damage output, but its high fire rate and solid magazine size make up for it. You can also wall buy this weapon at the Cabin on Blackwater Lake.

The Coda 9 pistol is an excellent choice, especially early in the game, and is immediately accessible via wall buy in the starting area. It has one of the fastest fire rates among pistols, and pairing it with upgrades and unlocking the Dual Wield attachment makes it even more deadly.

The MK.78 is one of the best LMGs and is unlocked by default in your loadout. Upgrading it with Pack-a-Punch increases its magazine size and damage output, making it excellent for mowing down zombies. Its only downside is its long reload time.
