How to Get Golden Armor

Golden Armor is an armor upgrade that can regenerate armor over time in Cursed Mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 (BO7) zombies. Learn how to unlock Golden Armor and how to get it in this guide!

How to Unlock Golden Armor

Unlock Tier 1 in Cursed Mode

Tier 1 Unlocked

You can get the Golden Armor if you unlock Tier 1 in Cursed Mode. You can increase the Tier by unlocking and equipping different relics in the game. Each relic has its own value, with the Grim Relics giving the lowest value and the Wicked Relics giving the highest.

Note that before you can unlock relics in Cursed Mode, you will have to finish the Ashes of the Damned Easter Egg, defeat Veytharion, and then interact with the Mysterious Object at Blackwater Lake.

How to Unlock Relics

No Golden Armor in Standard Mode

Golden Armor is not available in Standard Mode even after beating the game. The max armor you can get is only at Level 3 (Epic Rarity), which gives 3 stacks of armor in Standard mode.

How to Get Golden Armor

45,000 Essence from Armor Wall Buy

Purchase Golden Armor

Once Tier 1 is active in Cursed Mode, you can start getting Armor from the Armor Wall Buys until you get the Golden Armor. You will need a total of 59,000 Essence to get it.

Level 1 Unlocked by default
Level 2 4,000 Essence
Level 3 10,000 Essence
Golden Armor 45,000 Essence
Total 59,000 Essence

Use Armor Gettin' and Gift Card Gobblegums

Armor Gettin and Gift Card

Armor Gettin’ is a Legendary Gobblegum that instantly grants you Level 3 armor, while Gift Card is an Ultra Gobblegum that provides 30,000 Essence right away. Using both can significantly help you obtain the Golden Armor quickly!

Golden Armor will regenerate armor over time once you stop taking damage. Aim to get it while going through the Cursed Mode, as you will be required to go on higher levels if you want to unlock all the relics!
