| Key Combat Rating Milestones | |
|---|---|
| CR Level 10 | Damage I: x2 DMG |
| CR Level 30 | Damage II: x4 DMG |
| CR Level 45 | Damage III: x8 DMG |
Across multiple Endgame runs, your goal is to build up as much Combat Rating (CR) as possible, aiming for CR 45+ to unlock Damage III and other key upgrades. Reaching this level will help you handle the challenges in Zone 4. You can expect to hit CR 45 after 3–4 good runs.
Players can gain around 12–18 CR levels per run, depending on how efficiently the run goes. You can increase your Combat Rating quickly by continuously completing fast Activities and clearing the nearby hostiles.
Note: Combat Rating is tied to a single Operator, so any other Operator you choose will have a separate CR and no shared upgrades. However, you can share Field Acquired Weapons and Equipment among Operators.
| Activities to Level Up Fast | |
|---|---|
| Assassinate the Special Enemy located in the area. | |
| Wipe out the hostiles in the area. The Guild will send reinforcements through a VTOL if the camp is not cleared fast enough. | |
| Clear the hostile Robots inside the container. The robots inside can be a group of R-45s, a D.A.W.G unit, or a Rhino (most difficult). These are ideal to clear if it's on the way to another Activity. |
|
| Strongholds filled with human and robot enemies. Each one has a Jailbreak Workbench which you can use to upgrade the rarity of one of your weapons. Defeat the commander to unlock the workbench for use. |
|
The best Activities to prioritize when farming Combat Rating are those that can be cleared fast, such Prime Targets and Guild Checkpoints.
Slower holdout activities such as Strongbox Cracks or Quadcore Sites take much longer to clear.

There are five tiers of generic weapons available in Endgame. In each zone, you should upgrade your guns at Workbench Locations found in Command Centers or loot stronger weapons from random Activity rewards. It follows a standard rarity system:
How to Get Weapon Upgrades in Endgame

Once you reach CR 40+ and have at least one strong Legendary weapon, start completing activities in Zone 4. Activities and assignments here grant significantly more Combat Rating, helping you push past level 50 and up to the CR 60 cap to max out your skill upgrades.
Activities here also have a chance to reward Exotic Weapons, which deal x2.50 damage and come with powerful bonus effects similar to Pack-a-Punch upgrades, such as Frost Rounds, maximum-speed ADS movement, ramping fire-rate, and many more.

The final boss of Endgame is Dr. Faulkner, located in the Toxin Source at the southernmost island of Zone 4. This area is extremely dangerous, filled with high-level zombies and elites that deal heavy damage and can absorb a huge amount of firepower.
A minimum of level 45 is recommended before attempting this zone, with support from many other player squads. Clearing the area and defeating the boss with only one squad is very difficult, even with strong gear.
Defeating Dr. Faulkner nets you a random Exotic Weapon. Once the boss is defeated, inspect Dr. Faulkner’s body to automatically Exfil to keep your rewards for the next run, and view the true post-campaign ending.

After defeating Dr. Faulkner and inspecting his body, you will automatically Exfil and watch the true ending cutscene that concludes the Black Ops 7 campaign.

All BO7 base game operators will have an unlockable skin called No Fear. Defeating the final boss and extracting while using any one of these operators will unlock their corresponding No Fear skin.
There are 12 No Fear operator skins that can be unlocked which means if you want them all, you'll have to level up all 12 operators in Endgame, beat the final boss while using them, then successfully extract with them.
All Operators and Operator Skins
There are several Endgame Challenges that award XP, Camos, and Calling Cards for completing tasks unique to Endgame. Most require eliminating a set number of enemies with specific weapons or methods.

In the Loadout menu, make sure to equip a strong Major Ability. Crash Cart is one of the best options, allowing you to instantly revive yourself and nearby allies when downed.
Another solid option is Vision Pulse, which scans enemies and increases damage against them, helping you clear Activities more quickly.
The Grappling Hook is currently the best Minor Ability, giving you quick mobility during hectic fights. It pairs especially well with the Wingsuit, letting you soar across the map by grappling to a high point and deploying the Wingsuit immediately after.

Be sure to assist other players, as teamwork benefits everyone. You can clear difficult objectives faster, including fighting in the Toxin Source, and escaping together in Exfil zones.
As long as you participate in the objective by damaging enemies, the Combat Rating points are shared, and you can revive or be revived by other players when things go wrong.

You must finish the main campaign missions to unlock the Endgame Mode, specifically the final mission Containment. After defeating the final boss and watching the cutscene and credits, you and your squad (if applicable) will immediately deploy into Avalon to begin your first Endgame mission.
Once you have completed Containment, Endgame becomes permanently unlocked and can be selected from the mission list in the co-op campaign lobby.
Campaign Length: How Long to Beat

If you have not finished Containment, you can still play Endgame by joining a squad where the Party Leader has it unlocked. The leader can select Endgame from the mission list and queue it up for the team.
However, once you leave the party, Endgame will no longer be available unless you have completed the campaign yourself.
