How to Get Free Perks in Astra Malorum
Free Perks can be obtained through the music discs in Astra Malorum in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 (BO7) Zombies. Learn how to get the Free Perks and find out their locations in this guide!

Museum Infinitum (Melee Kills)
| 1 | Get the Disc on the Corner of the Wall |
|---|---|
 To start, you must grab the disc on top of the corner of the wall in Museum Infinitum. You can find it close to the Workbench in the area. You will need to wall jump to get it. |
|
| 2 | Place the Disc on the Gramophone |
 Place the music disc on the Gramophone in front of the Speed Cola Machine. The Gramophone is the vintage music disc player on top of a table in the area. |
|
| 3 | Melee Kill the Zombies |
 Once you placed the disc on the Gramophone, kill zombies via a Melee weapon and you should see their souls going to the Gramophone. Accumulate enough souls for it to get the highest reward, which is a free Mystery Perk. You can get Melee Macchiato to punch and kill zombies in 1 hit. |
The Luminarium (Field Upgrade Kills)
| 1 | Get the Disc at the Top of the Shelf |
|---|---|
 Grab the disc at the top of the shelf near the Grandfather Clock near the exit going to Stargazer's Courtyard. You must jump to reach the disc there. |
|
| 2 | Place the Disc on the Gramophone |
 Look for the Gramophone in the opposite side of the room where you got the disc. This spot is near a couple of leather couches and some displays. Place the disc once you're ready to start the challenge. |
|
| 3 | Kill Zombies via Field Upgrade |
 You need to kill zombies using Field Upgrade to complete the challenge. It's best to have a Powder Keg GobbleGum here, so you can instantly charge your Field Upgrade and use them again to kill zombies. |
Machina Astralis (Equipment Kills)
| 1 | Get the Disc in the Box |
|---|---|
 Take the disc inside the box at the east corner of Machina Astralis. You can find it close to one of the clues for the Planets' directions and near the Grandfather Clock. |
|
| 2 | Place the Disc on the Gramophone |
 The Gramophone is located near the Stamin-Up Machine, on the table near the statue at the corner. Place the disc on the Gramophone to begin the challenge. |
|
| 3 | Kill Zombies Using Equipment |
 For this challenge, you must kill enough Zombies using Equipment. It will be easy to clear if you use a Cymbal Monkey, LT53 Kazimir, Combat Axe or a Psych Grenade. |
Skulls Easter Egg (Random Perk)
| 1 | Shoot and Collect 5 Skulls |
|---|---|
 You need to shoot the 5 skulls with a Pack-A-Punched Weapon and grab them around the map. ▼ All Skull Locations |
|
| 2 | Place the Skulls on the Drawer |
 Head to Machina Astralis and search for a drawer with a mirror and candles on top. Put the skulls on the red circles above the drawer to start a short puzzle. |
|
| 3 | Shoot the Skulls in Order |
Once the skulls are in place, interact with it and memorize the order of the skulls that will float in the air. Shoot them in that order to get the Random Perk. Note that the order changes every match, so you'll have to check the order every time you do this easter egg! |

Skull Locations
| 1 |  Go to the area between the Crash Site (spawn) and The Luminarium. Look at the broken wall at the edge of the map to see it. |
|---|---|
| 2 |  Skull #2 is inside the Museum Infinitum. You can find it on the glass display behind the Speed Cola. |
| 3 |  Skull #3 is inside the Zombie Spawn in Stargazer's Courtyard. You can find it on the left of the Ammo Cache. |
| 4 |  Skull #4 is inside the Zombie Spawn in The Veilwalk, the area between Observatory Dome and Archive of Orbis. |
| 5 |  The last skull is on a glass display in Machina Astralis. You can find it in front of the Arsenal Machine. |
How to Get Free Perks
Complete the Music Disc Challenges
You can get free Mystery Perks (random perks) for completing the Music Disc challenge in the three locations in Astra Malorum. Each music disc requires different methods of killing the zombies to complete them, so make sure you are prepared before starting!
Note that you will only get random equipment or salvage if you fail the challenge.
It's Best to Do These at the Start of the Next Round
The best time to do these is at the start of the next round so there are tons of zombies you can kill. There won't be any purple zombies (event zombies) spawning in these challenges, meaning you have to do them with regular zombies.
Do the Skulls Side Easter Egg
You can get a Random Perk Power-Up for the team for doing the Skulls Easter Egg. You can do that by collecting 5 skulls, placing them on the red circles on top of drawer, and shooting them in the order shown.
