Playing without a squad in the Endgame mode is completely viable, with this guide explaining how to play Endgame solo in Call of Duty Black Ops 7 (BO7). Read on for tips and recommended routes to help make the most out of solo Endgame runs.

Starting from Combat Rating (CR) 0, your goal is to reach CR 45 as quickly as possible. Focus on efficiently farming quick and easy Activities in the early Zones.
From CR 0–10, focus on quick Activities in Zone 1, moving immediately to the next nearest one after clearing it. Upon reaching CR 10, you gain a x2 damage boost and a few upgrades, so you can move to Zone 2 for better weapons and higher CR XP per Activity.
At CR 30, progress to Zone 3 and continue this cycle until you reach CR 45.
| Activities to Level Up Fast Solo | |
|---|---|
| Assassinate the Special Enemy located in the area. Solo players can gather a lot of CR from killing the troops around and killing the target. | |
| Wipe out the hostiles in the area. The Guild will send reinforcements through a VTOL if the camp is not cleared fast enough, although they are also easy to take out giving you more CR. | |
| These are very easy to complete. Simply open the container next to the burning car before it explodes. This is straightforward, as only a few enemy troops are guarding it and opening the container is fast. | |
| Clear the hostile Robots inside the container. The robots inside can be a group of R-45s, a D.A.W.G unit, or a Rhino (most difficult). These are ideal to clear if it's on the way to another Activity. |
|
| Strongholds filled with human and robot enemies. Each one has a Jailbreak Workbench which you can use to upgrade the rarity of one of your weapons. Defeat the commander to unlock the workbench for use. |
|
Especially at lower CR levels, standard enemy eliminations give you a good amount of XP. Make sure your weapons are hot, killing lower-level hostiles like Enforcers, Sentinels, and R-45s to greatly increase your CR, and not just do the Activities without killing them.

Once you reach Level 45, earning the x4 Damage Upgrade, from farming in Zones 1–3, you can start tackling Zone 4 and start doing Activities there. Be sure to equip a Self-Revive and Crash Cart for emergencies, as the enemies here deal significantly more damage, and there are a lot more Elites in the area.
Focus on completing the standard Activities in Zone 4, which now have a chance to reward Exotic Weapon crates, providing powerful weapons essential for taking on the Final Boss in the Toxin Source.
Prioritize acquiring the Torrent AR (Best Choice), Redline LMG, or Backdrive SMG as these are the best choices. Automatic weapons are ideal, since other Exotics like the burst-fire rifle or bolt-action sniper have much lower DPS and are less effective in Endgame mode.

Other players often converge on the area once someone begins the final boss encounter, so you can start it yourself or join in with other players already in the Toxin Source. Here, you will face hordes of zombies and the eventual final boss.

Instead of endlessly fighting the zombie hordes, focus on finding and destroying the hissing toxin flowers scattered around the island on walls and inside buildings.
Clearing these quickly charges the meter needed to summon the Final Boss, Dr. Faulkner. Once he appears on the helipad, shoot him down with your Exotic Weapon. With other players assisting, he can be defeated fairly quickly.
After defeating the boss, open the Exotic case he drops for a possible upgrade, then you can Exfil by inspecting his body. If you have already viewed the post-ending and still have time left, you can instead keep exploring and Exfil later.
