Among the Exotic weapons, Torrent is one of the strongest choices for Endgame mode. It deals high DPS, quick reloads, a solid magazine size, and easy-to-manage recoil. Its versatility allows it to shred enemies at close range as well as medium to long distances.
The best Exotic effects it can come with are the Mortar Rounds to deal extra damage to nearby enemies, and Combat Ready to have a near instant ADS speed.
You can find Exotic Weapons by completing Activities and defeating Elite Enemies; successfully doing so has a chance of an Exotic case being awarded.
Automatic Exotics like the Torrent AR, Redline LMG, and Backdrive SMG are the most versatile options, each performing well across most ranges and against all enemy types. Effects such as Mortar Rounds, Frost Rounds, Combat Ready, and Recoil Delete are all excellent effects for these automatic weapons.
The other weapons with burst-fire, bolt-action, or pump-action firing modes shoot much slower and perform worse against the sheer number of enemies you face in Endgame matches.

The best secondary weapon to bring is the AAROW 109 Launcher. It can quickly tear through reinforcement VTOLs and even Special Enemies in the early Zones. For a launcher, it has near-pinpoint accuracy, letting you pick off targets at long range, and its high direct and splash damage can instantly wipe out large groups of enemies.
You can equip the AAROW 109 from the loadout menu and upgrade it at Workbenches around the map, or find pre-upgraded versions randomly inside weapon crates.
Crash Cart is by far the best option for survivability, allowing you to instantly revive yourself and nearby allies when downed, together with temporary invulnerability upon use. Certain Skill Tracks also buff revival, stunning the enemies around the revived player.
This essentially gives you a free Self-Revive kit as well, which only needs to recharge to be used again. This is vital in solo runs, where getting downed without other players around you can mean losing all your progress.
The Grappling Hook is the best Minor Ability, giving you quick mobility during hectic fights. It pairs especially well with the Wingsuit, letting you soar across the map by grappling to a high point and deploying the Wingsuit immediately after.
Decoys are the most useful tactical equipment, especially in Zone 4. You can be frequently swarmed by hordes of Zombies, and Decoy grenades can pull aggro away from you so you can focus on a specific boss or objective, particularly during the Toxin Source fight against Dr. Faulkner.
Lethal equipment, such as explosives, is quite inefficient at higher-level Zones, not dealing nearly as much damage as your guns.

By the time you reach Combat Rating 60, you will have all Power Upgrades unlocked. To make leveling to CR 60 as smooth as possible, prioritize Max Health for extra survivability, then steadily invest in Movement Speed to get around faster and Armor for an extra HP cushion.
Movement Speed is particularly useful once you reach Zone 4, since you will constantly be chased by massive zombie hordes.
Damage upgrades are guaranteed and do not need to be chosen, upgrading at CR 10, 30, and 45, giving you x2, x4, and x8 damage increases, respectively.
| Skill Tracks | Priority Skills |
|---|---|
Surgeon |
・Health Recovery (★★★★★) ・Heal Faster (★★★★) ・Agile Handling (★★★★) |
Gunner |
・Reload Speed (★★★★★) ・Aiming Expert (★★★★) ・Fast Replate (★★★) |
Tactician |
・Recharger (★★★★★) ・Quick Deploy (★★★★) |
Prioritize the skills above while leveling. By CR 60, the three tracks should be fully maxed out.
Out of the six Skill Tracks available, you can only equip three at max CR 60. The three best options are Surgeon for better healing and survivability, Gunner for much quicker reloads and improved accuracy, and Tactician for faster ability and equipment cooldowns.
Maxing out these three tracks makes your Operator highly versatile, especially in Zone 4. These skills keep you survivable, mobile, and strong at running and gunning.
