This build of the VS Recon Sniper Rifle is focused on maximizing ADS speed while balancing movement speed and aim sway. Its Gunfighter build improves on this further with the Prestige Attachment Stable Focus Handguard+ (MFS R-Stop Handguard), making it closer to a quickscope-like setup.
If you do not have this attachment yet, you can use the Steady Sway Handguard to give more stability to the VS Recon's aim sway.

You can opt for the Gunfighter Wildcard to use up to 8 attachments.
Mid-long range builds usually get better support from perks of the Recon and Strategist specialty, but you can still throw in an Enforcer perk. Lightweight, for example, is still good for the increased movement speed it provides. You can go in with a Hybrid Specialist setup, like the Scout.
