Ram Ol’ Tessie Into the Boss
To deal significant damage against Veytharion, boost Ol’ Tessie over the staircases in the middle as a ramp to ram the truck into the boss.
Shoot the Exposed Heads
Veytharion’s heads have a gray stone shell over them, which only deal reduced damaged. Shooting the head with the white exposed area will deal normal damage, while the red blown-off head deals bonus damage. This isn’t the recommended way to defeat the boss on its own, but it can chip away some health while you wait for an opening to deal bigger damage.
Use Wonder Weapons Against the Boss
Wonder Weapons are powerful and unique guns that can deal significant damage. You can find them from random drops in Mystery Boxes, but you should already have the Necrofluid Gauntlet at this point since it’s part of the Easter egg progression. Make sure to keep it so you have more firepower during the boss fight!
Stock Up on Decoy Grenades and Cymbal Monkeys
During the boss fight, zombies will also attack you, leaving little room to revive teammates or repair Ol’ Tessie when it breaks down. We recommend stocking up on Decoy Grenades and Cymbal Monkeys to lure zombies away. Just time your actions for when Veytharion isn’t firing projectiles!
Use Necrofluid Gauntlet to Retrieve Power Ups
You can use the Necrofluid Gauntlet to retrieve the power ups that are high up on the four corners of the arena. This can be done when using an Aether Shroud to safely pull down the power ups without alerting the enemies.
Deal with the Ravagers
As mentioned, mobs of zombies will swarm you. Regular zombies can be avoided by just running, but Ravagers are fast enough to catch you and slow you down while Veytharion attacks. Kill Ravagers as soon as possible to move freely around the arena.
Avoid the Boss's Red Projectiles
One of Veytharion’s attacks is that it will shoot red exploding projectiles at the ground. Move side to side when you see a red target on the ground and avoid running in a straight line. It’s also best to focus on running during this attack, as stopping even briefly can get you downed.
Ram Then Shoot the Boss During Its Immune Phase

Once you’ve damaged Veytharion enough, it will enter an immune phase where you can't damage it and spin around the arena. You can remove the boss's immunity by driving Ol’ Tessie over a purple beam on the sides then ram into the boss, which gives you a short window to shoot and deal damage. Aim for its glowing yellow bottom to maximize damage!
Use Aether Shroud Whille Fixing the Car
Using the Aether Shroud makes you invisible, allowing you to fix the car without interruption. This is a very important field upgrade to have as the car deals the most damage against Veytharion.
