Oscar can be killed via Easter Egg traps or getting upgraded weapons and perks in Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Zombies. Learn how to kill Oscar and find out if you should kill Oscar in this guide!

Wonder Weapons Do the Most Damage

Ray Gun Mark II on Oscar

Wonder Weapons do the most damage against Oscar, even in lower PaP levels at higher rounds.

You can get Wonder Weapons from a Mystery Box. You can use a Wonderbar to get a Wonder Weapon and Respin Cycle to spin the box again and get a different Wonder Weapon. You can also use a Immolation Liquidation to open up all the Mystery Boxes and reduce their Essence to 10.

If luck is not on your side and you didn't get any Wonder Weapons, you can still beat him with maxed out weapons (Pack-A-Punch 3 and Legendary), but it would still take longer.

With Traps Via Easter Egg

Electro-Volt Projector in Luminarium
Oscar Battery Overcharge
You will need to get the Car Battery for this to overload the trap. Lure Oscar inside the room where the Electro-Volt Projector trap is and activate it. Survive for several seconds until the overload is done to instantly kill Oscar.
Rocket Ship in Museum Inifinitum
Kill Oscar with the Rocket Ship Blast
You can use the Blaster from the Rocket Ship in the Museum Infinitum to kill Oscar. However, you must first collect 3 Absolute Zero Fragments by shooting the Purple Crystals with a Cryo Freeze ammo modded weapon.
Telescope in the Observatory Dome
Lure Oscar To Laser
To use the telescope, you must hit all 5 smoking valves inside the Observatory Dome first. The smoke will transfer to another valve once you shoot it, and you will have to find it and repeat the process until you get all 5. Make sure to act quickly as they will reset after several seconds have passed.

After that, use the Telescope and point it to the sun to summon the beam. Lure Oscar to the beam and wait for him to explode to get the LGM-1 Wonder Weapon.

Get Perks and Equip Augments

Jugger-Nog Augments

Aside from upgrading your weapons, you should also get Perks and equip them with Augments if possible. Perks should help you ramp up your damage and get additional effects in the game.

Should You Kill Oscar?

Only if Needed for the Easter Egg

Only Fight Oscar When Needed
Since Oscar is persistent and a tough boss to beat, it's best to fight him if only needed for the main easter egg. You might spend all of your resources before defeating him, disrupting your progress on the current run.

Oscar Respawns After 1-2 Rounds

Wait for 1-2 Rounds

If Oscar is needed for the easter egg, you can progress for 1 to 2 rounds to make him appear again on the map. As of writing, there's no way of respawning him by force, and you have to go through the rounds to summon him back.
