Let Him Keep the Stones
If you let him keep the stones he will give you 50 Crowns and tell you to wait 7 days for more Crowns. Unfortunately, he dies and you will be unable to get the extra Crowns and the art curator will not give you anything since you were unable to get the stones.
Take the Stones
If you directly took the stones, you will get a reward from the art curator once you return them to him.
Lend Him the Stones
If you lend him the stones, he wil tell you to come back for it after 1 day. After getting the stones you will still get a reward from the art curator.
Best Choice
The best choice here is to Lend Him the Stones. Even if you have to wait 1 more day to get the stones, doing this will give you the outcome where everyone involved is happy.
