How to Use Potions

There are two different ways to use potions in the game. You can either equip them on your quick slot and use them by pressing up or down button, or you can manually use them inside your inventory by pressing the Square Button (Y on Switch). Using potions increases your toxicity meter which limits geralt's use of potions and decoctions. Using a potion fills up a portion of your Toxicity.

Toxicity

Toxicity is the small green meter that fills up everytime you use a potion or decoction. It can be located below the health bar on the upper left corner of the screen.
