How to Fight Bears

How to Fight

Fighting a Grizzly Bear is the same as fighting a normal Bear. This can be an easy task or a great challenge depending on the player. The best way to deal with a grizzly bear is to attack it from behind since it does not have any attacks that can reach its back.

What Preparations to Make?

You should use your Steel Sword and coat it with Beast oil to deal bonus damage to it. Use attacks, Signs, or Bombs that can stun or slow it down so you can attack it from behind.

Special Sign Effects

  • Igni - If your Sign Intensity is high enough, they will start burning and will leave them stunned for the duration of the burn.
  • Yrden - Their movements and attacks will become significantly slower allowing you to reach its back and attack it.
  • Axii - They will become stunned for a short duration.
