How to Unlock The Dead Have no Defense
Head to the Hidden Treasure marker south of Duén Hen. Defeat the deserters there and loot them to acquire the Marauder's notes and a Common key. This will begin the quest.

You can miss this quest if you don't pick up the Marauder's notes.

| 1 | Head to the Hidden Treasure marker south of Duén Hen. |
| 2 | Defeat all the deserters. |
| 3 | Loot them to acquire the Marauder's notes and a Common key. |
| 4 | Head eastward up the path to find 2 more deserters guarding a chest. Defeat them. |
| 5 | Open the chest to end the quest. |
The Dead Have no Defense Tips and Strategies
Stun the deserters
They can easily overwhelm you if you're not careful. Stunning them with Axii will make them drop their guard, making them easier to kill. Axii works particularly well with shield-bearing opponents.
Is The Dead Have no Defense Worth It?
We recommend that you complete this quest. The Ultimatum you receive is a very powerful Relic weapon and has three runestone slots.
