EnlargeHead to the Hidden Treasure marker south of Duén Hen. Defeat the deserters there and loot them to acquire the Marauder's notes and a Common key. This will begin the quest.
You can miss this quest if you don't pick up the Marauder's notes.
This quest cannot be failed.

| 4 | Head eastward up the path to find 2 more deserters guarding a chest. Defeat them. |
| 5 | Open the chest to end the quest. |
They can easily overwhelm you if you're not careful. Stunning them with Axii will make them drop their guard, making them easier to kill. Axii works particularly well with shield-bearing opponents.
We recommend that you complete this quest. The Ultimatum you receive is a very powerful Relic weapon and has three runestone slots.
