The Type of a Monster will determine what Oil it is weak against. For example, Monsters of the Necrophage Type will receive 10% extra damage from Swords coated in Necrophage oil.

How to Fight Golyat
How to Fight
The best and easiest way to kill Golyat is to hit it in the eye with a crossbow bolt. If you are able to correctly aim the crossbow and hit its eye, Golyat will instantly die from the crossbow bolt. A good way to do this is to perfectly dodge Golyat's forward overhead swing with the Fleet Footed skill and use automatic aim of the crossbow.
Another way to deal with Golyat is to constantly protect yourself with the Quen Sign and attack him in between its large and slow attacks. You can also use the Yrden Sign to slow it down even more and give yourself larger openings to attack.
What Preparations to Make?
You should use your Silver Sword and coat it with Ogroid oil to deal bonus damage to them. Prepare bombs that deal a decent amount of damage like the Grapeshot Bomb or the Dancing Star Bomb if you are uncomfortable engaging Golyat in melee combat.
Special Sign Effects
- Yrden - This can slow it down further and give you larger openings to attack it in between its slow attacks.
