How to Fight Fiends

How to Fight

The best way to deal with a Fiend is to keep it inside the poison cloud of a Devil's Puffball Bomb while trying to attack it from behind. You can do this by throwing the Devil's Puffball Bomb at them and following up with a Samum Bomb.

What Preparations to Make?

You should use your Silver Sword and coat it with Relict oil to deal bonus damage to them. Prepare the Devil's Puffball Bomb to halt its regeneration and Samum Bombs to stun and blind it during combat.

Special Sign Effects

  • Igni - If your Sign Intensity is high enough, this can burn them and deal additional damage to them in order to end the fight faster.
  • Yrden - This can slow them down and keep them inside the poison cloud of the Devil's Puffball bomb.
  • Axii - This can be used to stun them momentarily and interrupt them when they are using their third eye.
